There is a private microbier, a beach cafe on the Elbufer and a closed bicycle room. Breakfast was good and rich. The area is unsighted and attractions, reception, bike rooms, etc are located in different buildings, so you can easily walk away."

"Small hotel almost in the center of Hitzacker (2 min walk). It is a small hotel with everything you need for a short business stay. Okay, there is free WiFi, but in the room where I stayed, the signal was quite weak. That can be frustrating, if you want to work there and need a good connection. The rooms are a bit rustic and the bathroom is okay, although that shower curtain needs some work. Everything is very clean. The breakfast is also complete but basic. Although I did miss a regular wheat sandwich and a slice of fried bacon. The staff is extremely friendly. In the same building is also Janemanns Restaurant, but that is only open Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon."
