Great
GGuest UserWe were a group of three staying in a family room. The cleanliness wasn't outstanding, but the bathroom was incredibly spacious. The check-in process was a little cumbersome, but the staff were friendly. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, comparable to staying on Nanjing Road in Shanghai, making it easy to get anywhere. The guests were also quite considerate; people would even chat with you in the elevator. Overall, it's a place I'd consider visiting again. PS: Just a heads-up, the hotel's checkout time is a bit early at 11:00 AM. Also, there's an extra charge for luggage storage.

CChanel ReneeA unique first stay in Madrid. The location itself it excellent. You will be next to many shops and restaurants, and then down the road is Puerta del Sol. I didn’t receive the email that contained the code to self check in initially so the first day was a bit stressful. Afterwards, everything was smooth. There is a cleaning crew that come through but if you are in one of the single room, you’ll have to ask to take out the trash. Overall, a good stay for those in the city looking for a simple stay. Thank you for the accommodation!

PPrakratsawatGreat location and very convenient to visit main landmarks. The hostel is closed to restaurants, bar, coffee shops, supermarkets, metro, bus, and shopping. The staff is good. The hostel is having nice kitchen on the 1st floor, nice and clean eating area both indoor and outdoor. The double room is okay with this price plus TV.

GGuest UserI’m a solo traveler and stayed here for two nights in a 4-bed dorm. The hostel has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the rooms are clean and smell fresh. The Wi-Fi works great. Breakfast could use a bit more variety in my opinion, but overall, I had a really good experience. Renato and the rest of the staff were super nice and pleasant. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Madrid. I highly recommend!

OokipockyNext time I go to Madrid again, I definitely plan to go to Bastardo Hostel!! The location is really good, and there are many shops near the hostel, and there is a Yaoyao Spanish ice cream shop,,♥️ The water pressure is strong, the air conditioning works well, and the room itself is large!! Both suitcases can be unfolded. The staff are also really friendly.

GGuest UserThe location was amazing, super close to reach by bus if you come from the airport. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had shampoo and soap. There's an elevator, so I didn't have to carry my 23 kg bag. The included breakfast looked very good> buffet style, bread, fruits, cakes, cereal, cheese and coffee. WiFi was strong and I used it to work, since I work online

CCHOW LONG HANGThe location is convenient. The staff are friendly I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice. However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet. I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement. If you are a solo traveller that need a short stay, it is an acceptable choice.

GGuest UserAir conditioning is strong and the temperature is comfortable. Luggage storage is 3 euros. When it got crowded the wait for reception was long. It is possible to borrow a hairdryer with passport as deposit. Overall a decent stay with fair price.

PPaula VianThe service is fine although it took a long time to check in (15 minutes) I imagine the guy was new and didn't know how to do his job yet, otherwise it's fine, it's on a street parallel to Gran Via so the location is great, I have to say that the room I took which was a double one was quite good inside but the outside of the room looked like garage doors, the inside of the room can't be closed but it remains locked from the outside and at 1 in the morning they knocked on our door while my friend and I were asleep and they made noises outside the door until they stopped knocking, otherwise very good accommodation for one or two nights, breakfast a little scarce but in terms of quality and price I think it's fine since for the price of the rooms in this hostel it's hard to find in Madrid and that are well located

MMariaB12Good location, quiet and safe area. Kitchen to cook but the other residents didn't like it when I tried to use the kitchen. Separate rooms for men and women but I chose to stay in the men's room to be with my son. I never had an issue in there. Some of the staff were kind and some was rude and gossipping to other customers us. The problem was the second day when I tried to use the women”s bathroom when I woke up in the morning -as I was advised to by the staff- and some Latino women didn't allowed me to go to the toilet. I went to the men's bathroom although they didn't like it too using theirs. In the afternoon I went again to take a shower, again in the women's room, and two other Latino women started talking and talking, making recommendations and problem. Again I left. Asked the receptionist about their boss to file a complaint but nowhere to be found. Just like Acacias and Thirty One so in Las Rosas the same boss but hiding. You can”t contact them. The same company owns these three and four more hostels and I realised this is the way they operate. They definitely have a personal issue with me and I don”t know if it is because I am a European citizen and not a Latina or it is something else. But that kind of bullying I've suffered in their hostels is unexceptable and I will not allow it. I will proceed in the court against them as they treat me like they are superior, they bullied me and they have to get what they deserve. So I will see them in court. As for their other hostel Rio who have cancelled our reservations and caused us so much trouble yesterday, I will write my review for them in every detail. So disrespectful and so unprofessional.
