"This hidden gem of a place was just what we needed. Rooms above a pub, Sue, the owner was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Whilst rooms are small, all the usual amenities are available. Breakfast was croissants, fruit, cereal and yogurts in your room ( no restaurant facilities as pub too small). We purchased parking permit - £10 per day- and could park in several adjacent streets. Buses into Brighton run regularly and bus stop at top of the road. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend."

"The apartment was lovely, the location was brilliant. It has a lot of potential. However it was dusty, the surfaces were not clean in living room. unfortunately their housekeeping is not onsite and they arrive very late on site therefore if something is missing in kitchen, they would not be able to replace it in time. Guest services were very helpful, as I forgot a few things at the property but they send it to me on my address."

"Rooms are entered and exited on an outside ‘fire escape’ stairway at the rear of the property. Door into a very cramped area leading to the rooms. Small room with metal shelved cabinet, so nowhere to hang clothes. Shower room with high window which can’t be opened. We were booked in for two nights, but left after one night. No breakfast available, so too much money for a very inadequate room. "
