"Youth hostel, shared bathroom. The hostel is in an alley, not ventilated, the room and quilt are damp, and it is impossible to sleep at night. What's even more bizarre is that the landlord requires you to change into slippers when entering the hotel lobby. Even five-star hotels don't do this. I wanted to make tea, so I bought mineral water and hoped that the landlord would give me an electric kettle. The landlord said I could take it to the lobby to boil. What's even more incredible is that the Chinese name of the hotel is Canary Hotel, but there is no Chinese sign, only Vietnamese. I used three different navigations but couldn't find it. Finally, I met a kind person who helped me find it. Whoever stays in this homestay (not as good as a youth hostel) will regret it!"

"A haven for my soul !!! I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine. If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did."
