Wilderness Hotel Inari & Igloos ★★★
"Layout: The entire hotel layout is shown in Figure 1. The wilderness cabin is closer to the check-in front desk. Walking out is the Aurora Hut close to the restaurant. The furthest away is the Arctic Chalet. Meals, bar, front desk hours are shown in Figure 2. Aurora Hut: If you come to Inari, it is recommended to stay in the Aurora Hut, because the glass house is designed at the right angle to see the aurora. It is easy to spot the aurora in the house. After spotting it, I immediately went out to the lake to take pictures. The constant changes of the aurora are beautiful! The reserved wilderness cabin was upgraded to the Aurora cabin on site for 190 euros. At the same time, the upgrade fee for dinner is 48 euros per person, and there is also 80 euros per person for breakfast and tax. Key point: Be sure to book a room on Ctrip based on the actual number of people. This hotel includes breakfast and dinner. The food is good and highly recommended! Small town: There are two large supermarkets next to each other in the small town, and there is an Internet celebrity restaurant next to the museum. The Internet celebrity restaurant is crowded and requires reservation in advance, but if you are too lazy, you might as well just eat at the hotel buffet. Travel activities: There is also a travel company Visit Inari in the town. You can search their official website to book a reindeer cart. The travel agency will pick you up at the hotel door 15 minutes in advance. But in fact, there is an activity reservation center on the right side of the front desk of this wilderness igloo hotel as soon as you enter the door. This wilderness hotel has many activities, including ice fishing, motorboating, hiking, and aurora chasing. Just pay to sign up at the front desk and gather ten minutes in advance. All activities here are provided with a full set of outdoor professional equipment such as clothes, hats, gloves, and shoes. No need to worry about clothes at all! In terms of comfort, the Aurora Lodge is a little colder. After all, there is a large glass roof. If it snows, you don’t have to worry. There is a one-touch heating button in the house to melt snow, which is very convenient. There are still no slippers and bathrobes. If you need a sauna, you need to go to the front desk to make a reservation for 10 euros/half hour. I gave you the key and went to the sauna in the last row of the Aurora Lodge. The prison has three hours of daylight to use the sauna, otherwise it is pitch dark. Inari surprise: There are Tesla charging stations, remember to download the aurora forecast app and other reminders, so I went to the hotel lake to take pictures of the aurora. Inari can contact a taxi when going to Ivalo Airport. The taxi driver's business card is also in the picture. He is a local driver and the meter costs almost 100 euros. It is a good deal! You can also ask the front desk for recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!"
Giellajohka ★★★
"The location is very secluded, which allowed us to see the Northern Lights every night. This was unlike the other hotels in Lapland where we stayed, which were too close to city lights. The grounds are beautifully decorated with lights. The breakfast is varied and delicious. I really enjoyed it."
Northern Lights Village Saariselkä ★★★★
"This was our first trip to Finland and our first time staying in a glass igloo, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The only inconvenience was that we couldn't drive directly to our room; all cars had to be parked in a central lot. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared for a bit of a trek as you'll have to pull it all the way to your room. If you have too much luggage and your room is far, the front desk does offer sleds to help you push it along. 😂 But it's understandable, as there are many people walking around the property, and with all the glass igloos, cars driving around would definitely compromise privacy and create light pollution. Our room type didn't look very big, but it actually had a separate sofa area for relaxing, and there was plenty of space on both sides of the bed. We were able to open up three large suitcases with room to spare. Most importantly, there were many power outlets in the room, which was incredibly convenient. The food provided was also quite good, with very fresh vegetables. We had satisfying dinners and breakfasts, and there were many choices for tea, coffee, and desserts. For those who enjoy alcohol, you can purchase it at the bar at your own expense. The overall service was excellent. The hotel offers many activities for an additional cost, so you can easily fill your days and then rest up to chase the Northern Lights at night. The hotel also provides a free Aurora borealis notification app (which usually costs money) that was very accurate. Basically, as soon as we received a notification, we could get ready and see the Northern Lights. Whether striking various poses in our room or walking around the hotel grounds, we saw beautiful auroras. This trip to Finland, staying in the glass igloo, truly made our dreams come true and completed our journey."
Aurora Village Ivalo ★★★★
"Nice village near the town but peaceful Glass cabin is very well-built,decorated and was warm Staff were nice I had a wonderful time here Thank you"
Gáldu Hotel & Spa
"My wife and I just wrapped up a 2-night weekend at Galdu Hotel & Spa, and honestly, I’d go back tomorrow if I could. The food situation is on another level. Breakfast was this cool mix of local Nordic wilderness flavors but with these unexpected intercontinental and Spanish vibes that just worked. After being out in the freezing snowy landscape all morning, their warm soup at lunch was a total lifesaver. Dinner was a full 3-course experience, and the service was top-notch—the owners even came by our table to chat, which made the whole place feel so welcoming and personal. The room was stunning, and my wife hasn't stopped talking about the scrub lotion in the bathroom (it’s the little things!). As for the spa, it was the perfect way to end the day. They have three different saunas and a warm outdoor jacuzzi where we just sat back, stared at the stars, and caught the Aurora. If you’re headed to Saariselkä, stay here. You won't regret it."
Lapland Hotels Riekonlinna ★★★★
"Having a room with a sauna was great, as I could use it whenever I wanted. The breakfast buffet was spacious and had a wide variety of food, including cheeses, sausages, and berries unique to Lapland, which was nice."
Santa's Hotel Tunturi ★★★★
"Good sauna, well-considered vegetarian diet at breakfast. The veggie balls are especially good, as is the vegetable garnish"
Holiday Club Saariselkä ★★★★
"If you stay in an economy class room, it's really far from the front desk to your room. I didn't know how to turn on the heater in the room, so it was cold... The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was delicious! The bus stop was right in front of the hotel, and it was also about a 10-minute walk to the supermarket, so it was very convenient!"
Wilderness Hotel Juutua ★★★
"The breakfast and dinner included in the room were sumptuous. Sauna facility (at costs) is definitely a great experience"

Kuukkeli Log Houses Teerenpesä
"Worst hotel experience ever. The reception of this hotel is 500 meters away from where we actually stayed, but the hotel didn't give any advance notice. We dragged our suitcases to the door of the room and called without the key. We had to walk back to get the key. Normally, you may think that walking back is okay, but this is Finland with thick snow at minus 20 degrees Celsius! The recetion is in a supermarket. There is no sign at the door. I can only call the front desk to ask. The front desk has a very bad attitude. They point at people's noses and say I hope you can behave yourself. They also refuse to admit that it is their work error and ask me to go. and platform complaint. I stayed one night and had to leave the next day. When I was packing my luggage, a woman turned the key in without knocking and shouted "out now!" I asked what was wrong with giving me some time to pack, and she said she had to leave in 10 minutes. All in all, a very, very bad attitude and a very poor experience. The front desk and staff have very poor English and cannot understand human speech."

Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort
"The B&B is very good and the environment is very good, but the check-in and breakfast are not in the same place. I have to drive to the supermarket to get it separately. I am a little helpless, but I called for information and they explained enthusiastically. The breakfast is also very good!"
Holiday Club Saariselkä Superior Apartments
"The apartment is quite ok but beds are small and dirty. Bedsheet and pillows are not clean. Good bathroom"
Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora- Secret Cabin
"The room is very large, there are 4 rooms, each of which is this twin bed, there are kitchen, sauna, washing machine, coffee machine, microwave, oven, refrigerator and other facilities, very convenient."
