"I travel on business weekly and always look for a Southern Sun Hotel before any other, I stay at Southern Suns across the country and I must say this is the worst one I have ever encountered. From requesting an iron and ironing board and no one pitching, to calling reception and the phone ringing forever without answer, to the shocking food served at breakfast (probably yesterday's lunch leftovers), to being sent a broken iron and being told there is no other iron so I had to iron with a leaking iron which made my suit and shirt wet. There were so many awful experiences at this Southern Sun, and inexplicably it is more expensive than one of the best Southern Suns in the country (Southern Sun Waterfront - Cape Town). I will definitely not be back. In fact I'm considering cancelling my rewards card and joining Protea card and taking my business there. Unfortunately I had already booked and paid for 5 nights at this Southern Sun, it was an awful experience. I have taken time before completing this survey because I wanted to be as objective as possible but there is no running away from some sad truths. You have a very long way to go as a hotel Southern Sun PMB."

"The hotel rooms are big and spacious. bathroom has an amazing shower and bathtub. the game drive was also an amazing experience to be up close and personal with the animals. no touching animals but Our guide Lonely, got us as close as he could. The braai area is off limits from 6pm but the manager allowed us to braai from later on as we only got back from the game drive at 6pm"

"From the minute you arrive you are spoiled…a glass of champagne while everything is explained…then shown to your huge room filled with sunshine..with a huge comfy bed and the resident cat that comes in for a cuddle…sunbirds jumping around in the bushes…heaven! Then it’s dinner time…Cindy is a star…everything was delicious! Beautifully presented! Fires in the background…60’s music playing… Next morning…breakfast was delicious…delicious! We had horses grazing at the front entrance..springbok and bushbuck grazing across the field.. Wish we had stayed an extra night..we could have gone for a walk …"

"Truly a relaxing getaway. We stayed in the deluxe suite- lovely views, comfortable room with underfloor heating in the bathroom that was ideal for the cooler weather. Especially enjoyed the window seats in the room- perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. We had breakfast and dinner at The Bistro and received excellent service and delicious food. We requested for our hake at dinner not to be beer battered and to be prepared seperately for religious reasons and the staff were very accommodating. We also visited the spa for a massage. The spa was clean with heated blankets on the massage beds which really elevated the experience. Would definitely return to Granny Mouse for future getaways! The tranquility can't be beaten."

"Our stay at the Hilton Bush Lodge was really awesome. It is a very relaxing place. The room was lovely and the views absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Heidi for being so accommadating and very sweet. Our hike to the beautiful waterfalls was definitely worth it. I love waterfalls. We recommend the Lodge to everyone wondering where to go. I hope that Hilton Bush Lodge gets more visitors and that they can get back to what they were a few years ago...with a restaurant etc."
