After hours on the road, finding a place that is easy to reach and comfortable enough for a proper rest makes all the difference. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. It sits very close to the entrance and exit of the highway, which made arriving and leaving incredibly convenient. There was no need to navigate deep into a city after a long day of driving. For travelers on a road trip, it’s a very practical stop. The hotel is a lovely place to pause and refresh. After being on the road for so long, it was nice to step into a calm and functional environment where everything simply worked. The interior and facilities were all decent—nothing overly fancy, but comfortable and well maintained, which is exactly what you hope for during a stopover. One detail I particularly appreciated was the clever design of the bathroom door. The door can swing between the entrance corridor and the sleeping area, acting almost like an additional divider. It creates an extra layer that helps block sound, which is a thoughtful touch and something you don’t often see in hotel room layouts. Overall, Novotel Grenoble Nord Voreppe served perfectly as a restful stop during a long journey—convenient, comfortable, and with a few smart design details that made the stay feel just a little more pleasant."

"We booked 5 rooms for a 5 night stay to use the hotel as a based to ride our motorcycles around the Alps. Hotel was chosen as it had secure parking. We arrived on Monday 16th June and on 17th June one of the bikes was stolen. On reviewing very poor CCTV it appeared that the security gate that should have been locked at 10:30 had been left open. Hotel reported “a malfunction” when questioned about this. We found that the gates were not secured on following evenings and we stored our bikes off site. Very very poor."

"So lots of good things. The location was great and the rooms really nice with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The staff were fantastic and really helpful and friendly . Breakfast was really good with plenty of food and restocked all the time. We were half board and evening meals were very limited with only the same 3 (sometimes4) choices every night so if didn’t like one or want to pay the extra for steak we ended up eating same meal 4 times in a week. Not always a dish of the day. My only other complaint was rooms not cleaned. The bins were emptied and fresh towels but that was it and for 3600 euros for 3 people I expected sheets to be changed maybe once and bathrooms cleaned. I would return but not at that price. Thank you to great staff."

It's also a shame that parking isn't included in the apartment price (an extra €25) and that there isn't a common room for groups. Otherwise, the location is excellent. "This hotel is very basic, room was not cleaned before we arrived even the dishwasher was full of dirty pots, and the bathroom mirror was covered in water marks/toothpaste. Bed very uncomfortable, rubbish pillows. Sofa had stains and what looked like mould. Light fitting/shade in bedroom was hanging loose with wires showing. Noise from in corridoor was very loud. Overall would not stay here again, the only positive was that it is fairly close to one of the ski lifts."
