Although facing the street and next to a business district, it is not noisy at all, sleeps very quietly, the hotel design is good, the wash basin and shower seat are separated, so that it is hygienic, and the morning cleaning will not disturb each other. This design is a big praise, but the parking space is a bit tight.

This hotel is really great; my family was very satisfied. Check-in at the front desk was also very quick. There's a free gym on the second floor where you can run, and the fitness facilities are well-equipped. There's also a free parking lot right at the entrance. The security guard was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, very satisfied.

1. Facilities: 5 points - Explanation: Except for Figures 8 and 13, all the attached pictures are intended to praise the hotel. The facilities are relatively new, the TV is super large, and the bedside tables, tea cabinets, and small desks are designed in scientific and reasonable sizes, which are both practical and do not take up extra space;
The coat rack and dressing mirror are very cozy: the coat rack is not the single stretch rod commonly seen in chain hotels, but a protruding U-shape, which is convenient for hanging clothes without worrying about accidental falling off;
The small phone on the bedside table is exquisitely designed to simplify the space; there are sufficient charging ports on both sides of the bed to meet the travel characteristics of modern people; the washbasin in the bathroom is large and of moderate height; the toiletries are stored in boxes, which is similar to the storage in star-rated hotels, improving the taste.
What is most commendable is that the design of the toilet paper location fully takes into account people's toilet habits and the convenience of taking and placing. It is neither too far nor too close, and can be reached within reach.
So why did I book 3 days, stay one night and then check out and even leave this small city? Please allow me to elaborate!
2. Hygiene: 4 points - the sheets, quilts, floors, etc. were all clean, but the chair in front of the desk was dusty (see Figure 13)! The floor towel was hanging on the handle of the shower room in a ball (Figure 8). The cleaning staff explained that it was not used, but was simply folded and placed neatly. Who knows?
What I couldn't accept the most was the strong smell of air freshener on the bed and in the entire room. In the middle of the night, my throat felt uncomfortable and I sat up and coughed for quite a while.
3. Environment, 3 points - there is a bus stop not far from the hotel, and a little further away is Jinzhou Station, so transportation is quite convenient, which is similar to the location of most chain hotels.
Personally, what I can't accept is: the noise from trains and trucks at night! This is a fatal flaw!
4. Service, 2 points - I travel almost every month, and I have been a member of Hanting since 2010. Later, Hanting upgraded its hardware and prices, but its service did not, which overturned my choice!
A few years later, this Hanting made me even more disappointed and angry:
First, when I walked tiredly to the hotel entrance dragging my suitcase and carrying my backpack, there were two staff members chatting lazily. They should be the front desk receptionist and the cleaning staff, blocking almost 85% of the entire entrance. I climbed the stairs with great effort and they made way for my ”guarding” position. I didn't expect them to lend a hand - but my heart sank: Is the hotel management so negligent? ——During working hours, there is no one to supervise everyone in their positions and doing their duties, and there are also no managers or supervisors on duty?
Second, when I checked in, the two front desk receptionists A and B, as well as a cleaning lady holding a rag next to them, all talked about ”selling cards” and encouraged me to become a member again! This was beyond my expectations. After sitting on the train for several hours and walking hundreds of meters with a heavy load, my biggest wish was to check in and have a rest as soon as possible. After I politely declined the first time, the receptionist continued my marketing, which reminded me of the card-issuing marketing of ”hair salons” and ”beauty salons” that are always criticized. At this point I was already very tired, so I continued to refuse – no way! I also gave a private reason of my own: hotel breakfasts don't take the low-sugar factor into consideration and are not suitable for a diabetic like me.
At this time, the smile disappeared: The king-size room you booked is only available near the road! (? ) I said I had trouble sleeping and asked if I could choose a quiet room. The waiter said: That is a deluxe king-size room and it costs extra. At this moment, there were no adjectives such as ”customer” and ”God” in my mind. Instead, I thought of what ordinary people used to say about some government departments: ”It's difficult to get in, the attitude is bad, and it's difficult to get things done”! But I'm staying in a hotel, a semi-high-end chain hotel at a high price! Where has all-round standardization gone? Only in terms of hardware?
In the middle of the night, I was wearing earplugs and was woken up in my dream by the trucks and trains passing by outside the window from time to time until dawn! Considering that standardized management is distorted by local characteristics, forget it, don't change hotels. There is no need to verify the saying ”Orange turns into gardenia when it crosses the Huai River”! Just change the ticket and check out.
Special note: I have my own ”travel diary public account” (Lame Knight), and I originally planned to write a wonderful travel diary after visiting the heroic city of Jinzhou. But in the end, I didn’t visit any of the attractions, so I have to use this review to replace the “travel article”!

We had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

Good location, just opposite the train station, next to the long-distance passenger station, it is very convenient to go to Yixian and Bijia Mountain. It is in the business building of the Blue Sky Building. There is a dedicated elevator. The elevator is broken when you come back at night. It is quite scary to go up from the freight elevator. The toilet pad needs to be paid 3 yuan at your own expense. It feels very bad. The sewer in the shower room is not smooth.

Clean and tidy, warm and thoughtful service, good attitude 👍 The landlord is very good and welcoming to us. The room is very clean and good. There is no smell. The hotel is fully equipped. The surrounding area is close to the night market. You can go to play. The landlord will patiently answer the questions. We booked in advance and called to ask. The landlord is already waiting for us downstairs. I can say that it is very good, good, good, good, good, hard to push

The location is OK, close to the train station, when I went in, the front desk and a big sister chatted at the front desk, they all looked at me, did not say hello, I took the initiative to say that I booked the room, only took the ID card, do not like to talk, do not like to laugh at the front desk, toilet and bath are separated, bath towels and towels are placed on the toilet side, There is no place to hang in the bath.

Traveling during the National Day holiday is expensive; hotels are all over 500 yuan. This hotel at just over 400 yuan is very reasonable. The hotel's location is good; it's a 5-6 minute walk from Jinzhou Station and also close to the famous Jinzhou Yu Barbecue restaurant, about a 10-minute walk. The room layout is quite novel, divided into two areas, like a suite. The breakfast was as described in other reviews, with a wide variety of options, including freshly made noodles and wontons. Overall, it was a very good experience. The only drawback was the weak water pressure in the shower.
