"It Takes 20 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stationi.Honmachi. The hotel consists of 5 different buildings and a little bit difficult fo find the exist etc. the room we stayed has no toilet nor bathroom so had to use the common ones They may have ordinary rooms though. The breakfast is very inexpensive. This is my second trip to Kanoya and felt the ranch smell covers the area which I cannot like."

I got frozen food according to the number of guests and the schedule. (we stayed for two nights with a couple, so four) The taste and quantity were normal, but it was enough."

There are no hangers in the room, so you can't hang your clothes! The hair dryer's airflow is weak. The bed is spacious, so you can sleep comfortably. There is also a souvenir corner on the first floor where you can buy Kagoshima sweets and other items!"

"Easy to check in and nice staff. This place has hostel/airbnb/surf shack vibes. It was not super clean but it was not terrible. I booked for one person but trip.com/booking.com booked me for the maximum occupancy (4), so it was more expensive than it should have been. Also, I selected pay at site and used my credit card as a guarantee. This Hotel is cash only, which I paid; however, I haven’t been reimbursed my guarantee from the website. So, I’ve effectively paid eight times what should have as of now. These bookings sites are always trying to scam customers, so I’m sure I’ll have to submit a claim with my credit card. That’s no fault of the hotel though."

"We stayed for three nights for two people. The room was clean and just the right size. The breakfast was so luxurious and delicious, it didn't seem like it was the morning after. It was a little disappointing that there was no bathtub in the bathroom, but there was a hot spring nearby, so we used that. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay at Kotobuki Hotel again."
