"Very disappointing and frustrating experience at Hotel Deventure Karnal during our marriage function. Mr. Rajeev initially made huge promises regarding top-notch arrangements, service, food quality, and guest hospitality, but unfortunately, none of those commitments were fulfilled. Even before the function started properly, he repeatedly pressured us for the balance payment and even threatened to stop the function if the payment was not cleared immediately. This created unnecessary stress and embarrassment for us and our family on such an important occasion. The biggest shock came during the function when the hotel staff switched off the air conditioners, saying that the “AC timing was over.” It was extremely uncomfortable for our guests, and such behavior clearly shows poor management and lack of professionalism expected from a venue hosting wedding functions. The food experience was equally disappointing. Several food items and menu commitments that were promised at the time of booking were either denied or not served at all. The quality and taste of the food were very poor and completely inappropriate for a wedding function. Despite this, the food arrangement itself was badly managed and insufficient for guests, even though around 100 plates remained unused from our side. This clearly reflected poor planning and coordination by the hotel management. On top of that, most of the staff members were rude, uncooperative, and not willing to listen to guest concerns or requests. Instead of helping the hosts manage the event smoothly, their attitude added more frustration throughout the function. Overall, it was a highly unprofessional and disappointing experience. I would strongly not recommend Hotel Deventure Karnal for weddings or family functions if you expect honesty, professionalism, proper hospitality, and quality service."

"The room has one big large window which normally would have offered some view of outside. Alas all it could offer was an array of scaffolding and tarpaulin! Under complete darkness. A permanent facility has been created with temporary material . We feel completely caged . Moreover loud music complete with Dhol and drums disturbed us major part of night - till 02:00 AM! The commode flush button was so hard the both of us had to push it with all our strength to make it work . It was a real horrible experience. I gave a written feedback. I got a call from their GM Mr. Behl . But it was all “ motherhood” statements- we will find out the reason and take action against the persons) responsible etc. etc. I am sure , if you are serious to correct the situation , all it takes is 6 hours maximum in such conditions- no out station investigations are required . But that’s it . The GM went through his paces ."
