"Comfort Inn & Suites - It's even a bit palatial after many nights in a donga ... The property is a low-rise, impeccably clean building in an industrial town. It features a lovely, well-maintained garden. My room was thankfully on the cooler side. The room also had a brilliant washing machine and tumble dryer. No need for that, as the room has a good old-fashioned clothesline. I popped that outside in the breeze. My jeans and sundry shirts got a decent wash and fresh air dry!@ BONUS... and all without having to hunt down gold coins either. Who thinks about detergents? Well, these people do... A big plastic cup of washing soap in with the washer... Thoughtful and wellcomed. Karratha is a good town, industrial, so don't expect cheap rates. However, for what it is, the Comfort Inn & Suites Karratha is worthy of a 10 out of 10. Crisp sheets - decent towels - good showers - a work desk, coffee and a few biscuits -monster TV that I never turned on. A nice room. I needed two days of rest - I got it by staying here. Thanks to Violet and the cheerful staff - friendly people with ready smiles. Very much appreciated"

"The place is lovely, clean, quiet and comfortable. Sanjeet, the manager is very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return. We love the food and coffee is fantastic. The garden has edible plants such as grapes, banana trees and we love the greenery around the hotel. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant and comfortable."

"The resort has really good sized accommodation. Spacious, clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable and again a good size. The lounge area is big plus there is a washer/dryer provided. There is a pool on site but I didn't have an opportunity to use it. Located about 3-4 kms out of Karratha town you will need transport to get to and from the resort for restaurants, bars, shopping etc. But being out of town means it is quieter albeit the main road that runs past the resort is busy with traffic specifically traffic for the resources sector. Unfortunately, the onsite restaurant has closed down which would have been an additional bonus and saved driving into town for dinner. A brewery/dinner is about 2kms from the resort heading out of town but I didn't have a chance to eat there on this occassion"

"Check in was the quickest I’ve had in years as the reception lady was on the ball. Parked straight outside the room, unloaded my bags in seconds and started work at the desk in the room. The bed was comfy, pillows were even more comfy, shower was hot and the towels were nice. There is a microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, electric hot plate and enough plates/cutlery to make a simple meal or reheat one if you need to. This was a real surprise and was very convenient. There were some small downsides: Aircon is a big clunker unit that sounds like a small truck has started up when it kicks in during the night. Toilet was dripping but I shut the bathroom door to fix that one! That’s it, the rest is good news. Location is perfect and you’ve got a sports bar, Indian, Burgers and cafes literally across the road. Sadly I didn’t get to look around the grounds at all, but I believe there’s a pool etc. This is now my favourite place in Karratha and I’ll be back for sure."

"Place is ok, handy for Karratha, clean and the office friendly and approachable. But don't get the meal package. They send you to Stadium 26, a sports bar in town. The service there is very poor but if you dare complain you will be told its your fault because people at the table ordered different meals, or you got there too late (7.30), or you didn't order in advance. Avoid!"

"We were passing through Karratha with friends and my husband decided he wanted to stay at this park as we used to live here in the 1980s.It wasnt good in those days and I was interested to see what had changed.NOTHING!!!!!It is still as grotty as it ever was.The front reception and shop area had improvements done but the park remained the same with the toilets and laundry being exactly as it was all those years ago but with a lick of paint.The door to the womens toilets didnt have a handle,just a gap and you pushed the door open.The toilets had broken toilet roll holders and dicky locks.The benches and showers were permanently stained red.The laundry had a few machines which were free to use so bonus points for that but you had to queue to use them.Very tight sites with you being very close to your neighbours.I would not stay here again but if you just want to be here for a night and drive into town for supplies ,it was ok.You are out of town and will need to unhook your van and drive in to do shopping and sight seeing.Pet friendly.Needs sooo much money spent on it to bring it up to standard.Our site had some grass but there was a stump in the middle of our annex where we put a milk crate over it so we didnt kick it"
