"The hotel is very close to the port of kyllini, suitable for passengers returning from Zakynthos at night to rest temporarily. There is a big dog in the hotel that barks at passers-by. The room was clean and there were good hygiene products. There is a small terrace."

"This was actually a wonderful beach apartment and beautiful gardens but the two staff members in the reception were so unpleasant, rude and with such a bad attitude that we will never come back. The apartment was big, clean and spacesious with a big porch. The surrounding area was well kept with lots of beautiful flowers. The restaurant staff both in the evening restaurant and the breakfast restaurant were smiling, friendly and very attentive and polite. We ate oven baked lamp and pork chop in the evening. It tasted great. The beach (under water) was not good. Full of uneven cliffs and rocks and covered with some unpleasant slimy seaweed. The water was close to impossible to enter in front of the hotel. If you walk to the other end of the beach in front of the camping site, we were able to enter the water. The beach (over water) was sand and gravel/small rocks. At our departure we met another front desk staff member. We were returning our 3 beach towels to get back the enormous deposit of 45 € (!!! 15€ per towel). The man would only give back 40 € because he said there was a local tax. 5€ tax on beach towels!! He had just clearly stated that we had prepaid all of our stay, so that was all settled. Suddenly he changed his reason for wanting the 5€. It was tax on the room. It all seemed very strange. He was rude, angry and very impolite. I didn’t want to argue any further on this matter so I let him have his 5 € and left. I will gladly pay the local tax which is sometimes included and sometimes not. If there was a misunderstanding - fair enough. But the attitude of the staff was just terrible. I can’t recemmend this hotel to anyone. Greece has som many other pleasant places to choose from. The 2 stars are one for the apartment and one for the other staff working in the restaurants."

"First time to Aldemar Olympian Village for a family holiday, booked through Jet 2 .arrived late at Airport so had a private mini bus to Hotel. Check in was quickly done , we had booked family rooms with swim up pool . Prior to our visit i contacted Hotel to request our rooms to be next to each other, unfortunately they couldn't accommodate this for the first night but were able to oblige for the rest of the holiday which wasn't too much of an inconvenience .Because of our late arrival the the hotel provided a small packed meal, sandwich, fruit, cereal bar, & a drink, but didn't contain any gluten free product. Buggies provided to your rooms for your luggage. Our room (726) were clean a little on the small side with a small extra bed for a child. Tea & coffee were provided but weren't replenished on a daily basis with you having to collect from one of the restaurant's or bars . Toiletries were provided soap, shampoo, shower gels & hair conditioners. One or two for the areas around our pool were in need of attention with broken tiles and plastic drainage tiles broken .Umbrella & two sun beds provided on our own patio Plenty of bottled water provided from most of the restaurants & bars. Hotel provide lovely bath robes but one small attention to detail there are no hooks to hang them after use . As we booked a swim up pool we were entitled to use the Rizes restaurant for Breakfast & evening dinner, which was great as the main restaurant can get rather busy Breakfast in Rizes , plenty of variety continental, English, fresh fruit yogurt including gluten free options bread, cakes and cereal. In the evening you had waiter service for three options for main meals and deserts or if you prefer you can use the buffet selection for starters ,main meals & deserts. There was a little confusion over the gluten free options the first night but having spoken to George one of the chefs there wasn't any further problems. they have themed evening meals in Rizes the Asian was especially good. We ate in three specialist restaurant's ,Abeliona, La Pergola and Marina all the food & service was excellent specially the Pizzas in La pergola Italian Food throughout our stay in all of the restaurant's was of good quality maybe could have been a little hotter but maybe that's Greek Cuisine . Our room was 726 fairly close to the main restaurant's ,beach, pool, bars &main bars, Beach is safe clean and well maintained with umbrellas and sun beds provided although to get a decent location sun beds were reserved early 8 am. A small half a mile walk to a small harbor & beach provide good snorkeling in the warm sea. Staff are all pleasant & helpful special Mention to Dora in the pool bar who makes a excellent iced coffees Mike who serviced our room & George one of the chefs The resort is vert large but having been able to use the Rizes restaurant was a bonus. one concern the hotel provide go-karts , bicycle's at a charge with some children & adults rac"

"We stayed for three nights. There are small shops and restaurants around the hotel. However, the hotel facilities were always out of order. The power circuit breaker in the room tripped on the first day and the water supply was cut off for the next two days."

"The room facilities and decor are fantastic! Our host, Sue, who is from Nottingham, England, was also very welcoming and attentive, with a delightful British accent and intonation. The hotel is also in a great location—far from the town center, making it quiet, yet close to the beach for easy swimming. Several supermarkets are also conveniently located nearby, and the surrounding restaurants are delicious. The hotel also arranged a half-day tour to Shipwreck Cove for €40 per person, with half price for children under 12, making it a great value."

Spacious room, huge bathroom, separate living room with its own large TV screen, bedroom with a second large TV screen, comfortable beds and pillows by COCOMAT, freshly made breakfast with adequate variety every morning. A quite big swimming pool with satisfactory depth, with separate kids swimming pool a little further away."
