"The service was traditional Japanese, very polite. Upon arrival by car, they brought over a luggage cart and helped push it. The counter staff spoke a little English. Overall, the service was very good. The hotel lobby seemed quite new, having undergone renovations. The room facilities were relatively older. The showerhead had a strong water pressure, but the temperature fluctuated slightly at times. The scenery was beautiful. It's a great summer retreat. In early August, wearing short sleeves and going outside would be chilly."

"There is a station connection. You can clearly find the shuttle bus as soon as you leave the train station. It is very convenient. After arriving at the hotel, the service staff immediately came to receive you. They were very considerate and tried their best to assist with the relevant needs raised. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It’s clean and tidy. If you don’t have any other outdoor itineraries, the hotel has all the facilities and is suitable for hanging out all day long!"

"We had a lovely stay in this wonderful Italian albergo for 5 nights in February 2025. The location worked well for us, midway between several ski fields. Il Regalo is a delight, a small family-run hotel with 6 rooms above the restaurant, just like in Italy. The owner was so kind and helpful to us. In broken english he would recommend ski fields and sell us discounted lift tickets. He is also an absolute Italophile and the entire property is decked out in Italian ceramics and souvenirs. The Italian food and wine for dinner makes a great change and the breakfasts (included) were excellent - an offering of salad, fruit and yoghurt, a daily hot dish and pastries. We had a very large, comfortable corner bedroom with a nice view out the back of the property. The carpet was badly stained, otherwise the room was clean and serviced daily, Even the king bed sheets were changed daily! We stored our skis and dried our boots in front of a heater in the small foyer. The excessive snow was cleared from the carpark twice a day."
