"We booked Casa Di Pietra in September 2025 for our August 2026 stay. The night before arrival we were told that a drainage issue meant we had to relocate to the sister property. However, the following morning we took a walk to Casa, we saw guests using Casa Di Pietra as normal. After contacting the hotel, we were suddenly told that the issue had been resolved and that we could return despite only having one night left. This directly contradicted the explanation we had initially been given and left us questioning why we had been relocated in the first place. The hotel’s communication was poor, its handling of the situation lacked transparency, and no clear explanation or meaningful accountability was provided for the disruption caused. We had specifically chosen Casa Di Pietra for its peaceful, intimate setting, so being moved elsewhere significantly affected the holiday we had planned and paid for. Although the property itself has appeal, the hotel’s inconsistent communication and failure to handle the situation openly overshadowed our stay."
