Shock #1: There was a group drinking by the pool when I walked in. Shock #2: I saw one room with 4-5 kids staying together, which was surprising. Even though my room was at the very back, it was noisy by the pool area in front of the rooms from early morning. 😅"

"We had a terrible experience at Hotelru. They fined my sister 1300 bhat cause she had her periods and there was a 2cm stain on the bedsheet. They did not accept card, we had limited cash. We offered to wash the sheet but they kept insisting that it was a “property damage” and that it was “permanent”. There was a lot of back and forth, the fine that was said 500 bhat, went to 1000 bhat and then 1300 bhat as they spoke among themselves. I really thing it might have been the case of scamming. I could not believe the callous we were shown. It is the worse treatment ever. Plus there is no privacy, the staff can walk into the rooms without your knowledge. So please keep your valuables with you. The doors would fall constantly as it resisted to slide. There’s no reception area so you’ll have to work to find staffs when you need. There’s no phone to contact the staff, no toiletries, no soap. I do not recommend this place."

"The service was great! They offer pick-up and drop-off at the pier. Everyone was smiling and friendly, and any issues were resolved quickly. It's only a 3-4 minute ride from the pier. The electric cart is brand new and looks really nice (it's orange). There's also a chubby dog and lots of cats. Breakfast was quite simple... The environment is good, but we usually just went straight to the beach after waking up. The room was a standard size, but the bathroom was particularly large. Overall, I think it was pretty good. There were quite a few small animals (like geckos), but they weren't really a problem."

"A very unpleasant stay! The staff spoke Chinese, but they were quite petty and kept threatening to fine people tenfold if things went wrong. It felt like they were targeting Chinese people. I didn't like it. Although my mother and younger brother stayed with me anyway, I won't be coming back. There's road construction in front of the hotel, so we can't go to the beach."
