Hotel service is good. The hotel was rebuilt after the activation of the ancient church. On the way to the room, you can see the murals refurbished by the church. It has a retro literary atmosphere. The rooms are new and the space is very large. The rooms in the lake view can be seen from the view of lake konstanz without leaving the house. The hotel is located in the city centre and you can walk to the city after you have left your luggage. Tourists arriving in Konstanz are required to pay a tourist tax, which already includes a free transport ticket. The breakfast is very rich and the view is superb.

Our overall experience was wonderful. The staff made us feel important and welcome. They are multi-lingual. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. Of course, it is very easy to access from the train station but this trip we arrived by auto. You must park at one of the city's parking lots, but we had no problems with that. It is old world but with efficient heat/ac, lighting, etc. Our room was spacious with a great view of the lake. We have been there before and will definitely return.

Located in new area on nth side river. Easy to get to on bus from train station. 20 minute walk to city center (as long as you don’t get run over by an e- bike). Shopping center across street. Free bus pass for period of our stay was an unexpected and valuable extra. Business style hotel with nice decent sized rooms, AC, good breakfast. If it had mini-fridge and in room coffee this would be a 5 star. Staff very professional. They recommended renting a bike from Zweirad Wagenknecht where we got bikes for lovely ride on bike path from hotel to Insel Reichenau.

I stayed with my husband for two nights. Have been apprehended by some first negative reviews. Probably the teething problems are over. Nevertheless, I had an adequate stay encountering very friendly and forthcoming staff. A Hampton is a Hampton, not a Palace. However, there were some fixtures that went beyond the Hampton standard I am aware of in Europe: rather spacious hotel room, a fridge (empty), a safe. A neat sitting area with a small table - but no formal writing desk. Large TV set. The bathroom was spacious, the shower cubicle was totally separated by a glass door. There even was a magnimagnifying mirror in the bath room. The hotel is NOT in the city center but eight bus stops away. Bus no. 8 goes frequently from the railway station (during the week every 15' until 21:00hrs, then hourly only, during week ends every 30'). You can buy the ticket with the driver (cash only, no credit card). One ticket costs 2.70€, a day ticket costs 5.30€) I liked staying at the hotel for those two nights very much. It was not at full capacity which might have been in my favor. The surrounding itself is rather bland. Just keep this in mind and your expectations for a clean, modern economy hotel will be fully met.

Check-in: The staff at check-in pointed to the free public service. The possibility of booking breakfast and the free use of the garage and parking were also discussed. It was only a bad thing that, although we were waiting alone at the check-in, we were reading a lot of time to document on the computer before we were cared about it. Location: The hotel is just a little away from the city centre about 15 minutes. The nearby fast road is well heard at open window. The next bus stop is about 5 minutes walk away. Rooms: The rooms are clean and conveniently furnished. Unfortunately, something bright so people were right to hear on the walking. Service: It was not checked at breakfast whether we were guests who booked this option or not. The lady, which was responsible for the preparation of the food, was also cleaning power for the buffet area. In general, we were friendly. Eating: The buffet was viewable and offered a small selection of the most common breakfast options. Concluded: Sufficient for a short trip to Constanz.

Have spent four days there - the hotel is very central - bus/train is fast reach - also the city centre and lake are fast reach. Unfortunately, we have also to mention some negative points - the room is OK, unfortunately no climate (but we knew before) the ventilator there is unfunctional (At temperatures far above 30 degrees very harmful); It is nice if there is the possibility of making tea or coffee in the room - sugar was there but there was a Tea/Coffee absence. Breakfast as well as well - which disturbs (and unfortunately is so in other hotels) that the breads have been back-up - I actually expect more from a hotel in a already high price category. Concluded - more than a satisfactory cannot be given as a judgment.

Self Check-In Hotels have their advantages. For the guests usually cheaper prices, for the hotel cost-optimal processes and lower staff costs. The Boardinghouse in constant is a very good example of this. The rooms are convenient and tastefully furnished, the bed very good. For check-in there are two machines, unfortunately, a device was defect at our arrival, which resulted in the waiting time was very long. We had indicated a quiet room as customer wish. Since the room was allocated automatically, the room was directly to the main entrance which is frequented all night. Since there is no supervision, the noise level was very high in the night. On the balconies and terraces, some of them were talked all night and music was heard, which is very unpleasant in summer at open windows. We could not reach hotel management by phone despite multiple attempts, there is no ”noise telephone” and the participants refer to the e-mail communication. This is quoted ”depending on the situation* - in our case, in time, However, not problem-solving. If you are noise sensitive, they will stand before arrival to a guaranteed quiet room, otherwise you will leave early as us without refund.

We were at the hotel for a week and had a room at the seaside. At the overall review I really do trouble. The hotel itself has actually come a little in the years. The rooms are partly very different. Some have still tape, others already laminated. Also the bathrooms are very different. Our room was a little more modern and clean. In principle there are rooms in all 4 directions of heaven. Of course, those to the lake are more expensive, but it's worth it. Although the ferry is just next to it, you don't get anything from it and we haven't been looking for any night disturbances. Ideally, you also book HP for it, because in the closer environment there are few ways to eat. It is very comfortable to go to dinner in the hotel right now, in the current situation. This is really delicious and consists of pre-food, main meal and dessert. The breakfast is not special now, but sufficient and something for every taste there. Really super is the location. All important destinations can be reached quickly. From the hotel you get a ticket for the bus to constant. This starts all 10-15 minutes directly before the hotel - even until late night. Otherwise, Meersburg, Mainau, Zurich or sheep houses are well and quickly accessible. Thanks to good bike road networks, many goals are also easy to reach by bike. The staff was very nice and premature everywhere, whether at the reception or in the restaurant. Conclude: For the hotel itself I would only give 3 points. This is the average of the costs for my taste too. But it is probably just in the area. Outside it has service, food and location.

Almost perfect for a city holiday. The pedestrian zone right around the corner. The house is quietly located. The rooms are sufficiently spacious and clean. Partly balcony with sea view. Toilet and shower separated. TV and coffee machine. Little Manko - the beds are not very comfortable despite already available topper. Specially mention the friendly staff and the great breakfast in the upper floor with view over the city. Probably enjoying great outdoors in summer. The only lack of a cheap parking possibility in the vicinity is 24 Euro per day in the nearby shopping centre and the parking space for 5 Euro per day is currently closed. If Konstanz then we will again choose this hotel.

I was professionally in Constanz with my wife for two days and we wanted a hotel with balcony. When we were looking for we met the guest house Holzer. And I have to say: Fortunately. That was an absolute full hit. The rooms are very clean (is very important to my wife) and modern furnished with TV, bathroom and very good beds :-) We had a covered balcony to the garden. The lake is very close. In November, we are unfortunately going too cold but to walk super beautiful. We will come back to use the wellness offer that, unfortunately, was not allowed to open because of Corona. But a look into the room we were allowed to throw and it makes a look at wellness. Breakfast is corona-related not a buffet but with a card. But everything there. Good resolved in this time.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questo hotel sul Lago di Costanza , vicinissimo alle Therme omonime. La camera era molto ampia e confortevole, con servizio di pulizia quotidiano molto attento. Vista la posizione vicino al Lago ma a qualche fermata di bus( con un biglietto che viene dato gratuitamente al check in) dal centro .abbiamo opzionato anche la colazione e usufruito della cena nel ristorante interno all'hotel. Tutto molto buono . Consigliato per qualche giorno di relax sul Lago.

The hotel was the start and destination of an 8-day bike trip. It is in an old casino, therefore not very attractive. After-lift very primitive but functional. Large rooms with kitchen. Small breakfast, no restaurant. Location to the Rhine about 1500 m was somewhat ok. When we were just 1 week through Switzerland we received a call that last night we weren't going to be taken up because our homeland became a hot spot in the meantime. But that we haven't been home for a week, nobody is interested. We had to cancel the trip one day before and let our luggage to the hotel/car make by expensive special courier. Not very professional.

Our overall experience was wonderful. The staff made us feel important and welcome. They are multi-lingual. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. Of course, it is very easy to access from the train station but this trip we arrived by auto. You must park at one of the city's parking lots, but we had no problems with that. It is old world but with efficient heat/ac, lighting, etc. Our room was spacious with a great view of the lake. We have been there before and will definitely return.

Toilet and shower separated. TV and coffee machine. Little Manko - the beds are not very comfortable despite already available topper. Specially mention the friendly staff and the great breakfast in the upper floor with view over the city. Probably enjoying great outdoors in summer. The only lack of a cheap parking possibility in the vicinity is 24 Euro per day in the nearby shopping centre and the parking space for 5 Euro per day is currently closed. If Konstanz then we will again choose this hotel.

When we were just 1 week through Switzerland we received a call that last night we weren't going to be taken up because our homeland became a hot spot in the meantime. But that we haven't been home for a week, nobody is interested. We had to cancel the trip one day before and let our luggage to the hotel/car make by expensive special courier. Not very professional.

I was professionally in Constanz with my wife for two days and we wanted a hotel with balcony. When we were looking for we met the guest house Holzer. And I have to say: Fortunately. That was an absolute full hit. The rooms are very clean (is very important to my wife) and modern furnished with TV, bathroom and very good beds :-) We had a covered balcony to the garden. The lake is very close. In November, we are unfortunately going too cold but to walk super beautiful. We will come back to use the wellness offer that, unfortunately, was not allowed to open because of Corona. But a look into the room we were allowed to throw and it makes a look at wellness. Breakfast is corona-related not a buffet but with a card. But everything there. Good resolved in this time.

We were at the hotel for a week and had a room at the seaside. At the overall review I really do trouble. The hotel itself has actually come a little in the years. The rooms are partly very different. Some have still tape, others already laminated. Also the bathrooms are very different. Our room was a little more modern and clean. In principle there are rooms in all 4 directions of heaven. Of course, those to the lake are more expensive, but it's worth it. Although the ferry is just next to it, you don't get anything from it and we haven't been looking for any night disturbances. Ideally, you also book HP for it, because in the closer environment there are few ways to eat. It is very comfortable to go to dinner in the hotel right now, in the current situation. This is really delicious and consists of pre-food, main meal and dessert. The breakfast is not special now, but sufficient and something for every taste there. Really super is the location. All important destinations can be reached quickly. From the hotel you get a ticket for the bus to constant. This starts all 10-15 minutes directly before the hotel - even until late night. Otherwise, Meersburg, Mainau, Zurich or sheep houses are well and quickly accessible. Thanks to good bike road networks, many goals are also easy to reach by bike. The staff was very nice and premature everywhere, whether at the reception or in the restaurant. Conclude: For the hotel itself I would only give 3 points. This is the average of the costs for my taste too. But it is probably just in the area. Outside it has service, food and location.

Have spent four days there - the hotel is very central - bus/train is fast reach - also the city centre and lake are fast reach. Unfortunately, we have also to mention some negative points - the room is OK, unfortunately no climate (but we knew before) the ventilator there is unfunctional (At temperatures far above 30 degrees very harmful); It is nice if there is the possibility of making tea or coffee in the room - sugar was there but there was a Tea/Coffee absence. Breakfast as well as well - which disturbs (and unfortunately is so in other hotels) that the breads have been back-up - I actually expect more from a hotel in a already high price category. Concluded - more than a satisfactory cannot be given as a judgment.

Breakfast is general, I feel that the German hotel breakfast is average, you can go to the nearby bakery to eat. Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questo hotel sul Lago di Costanza , vicinissimo alle Therme omonime. La camera era molto ampia e confortevole, con servizio di pulizia quotidiano molto attento. Vista la posizione vicino al Lago ma a qualche fermata di bus( con un biglietto che viene dato gratuitamente al check in) dal centro .abbiamo opzionato anche la colazione e usufruito della cena nel ristorante interno all'hotel. Tutto molto buono . Consigliato per qualche giorno di relax sul Lago.
