"I chose Dedeman because I expected the standards, professionalism and judgement associated with a five-star hotel. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations. The evening after my mother’s cataract surgery, we stayed at your hotel so she could rest comfortably. At around 10:30 pm she fell asleep, and I later had three cups of tea in the lobby. I signed the bill, provided my room number and assumed, quite reasonably, that the charge would either be posted to my room or settled at check-out. Instead, at approximately 1:00 am, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign hanging on our door, a member of your staff knocked repeatedly to wake us because the hotel had been unable to post a bill of 165 TL to my room. The employee apologetically explained that he had been instructed by his manager, Mr. Yasin, to collect the payment immediately in case I left the hotel without paying the following morning. Let me be clear: this is not about 165 TL. It is about judgement, respect and hospitality. Waking a guest—and more importantly, a patient recovering from eye surgery in the middle of the night—over such a trivial amount is unacceptable. It demonstrates a complete failure to understand guest experience and basic hospitality principles. The young employee was clearly uncomfortable and appeared to be following instructions rather than exercising poor judgement himself. The responsibility therefore lies with the management, not with the staff member. A five-star hotel should trust its documented procedures, signed bills and reception processes. If your operational systems cannot handle a room charge without waking sleeping guests after midnight, then the problem is not your guests—it is your management processes. This experience left me feeling genuinely embarrassed and disappointed. It is difficult to reconcile such behaviour with the standards expected from a hotel carrying the Dedeman name. I sincerely hope senior management reviews this incident, not because of the amount involved, but because no guest should ever be treated this way. Hospitality is measured not by beautiful buildings, but by sound judgement and respect for the people staying in them."

After a full day of traveling we checked in to a hotel room with no AC “because it’s turned off for the winter.” Unfortunately, it’s 75 degrees outside and some rooms are on the west side. All of our group, most of whom are couples, have a single bath towel and a single hand towel. Dried blus soap is pooled in my bathroom floor, telling me it hasn’t been mopped. There are no luggage racks so suitcases sit on the floor."

"It's very close to Mevlana, and the host was very enthusiastic in explaining where to go around. Parking has its own parking lot, which is safe and convenient. As an old house converted into a B&B, it has done a great job and is absolutely clean. Make us feel at home. The only thing is that there are no other houses around, and the old houses have been demolished or not allowed to be occupied. It feels like their family is a nail-biter, haha. However, I still highly recommend staying at his home."

"The room is nice, classic looking old school style. Breakfast was amazing and so much variety of food and vegetables. Note to hotel management, If the television must be on during breakfast, it should be on lower volume or soft music instead. There are sound coming from everywhere such as kids screaming, everyone using their own devices to watch whatever - some people prefer relaxing morning during breakfast time. Parking is not at the front of the hotel. You can drop off your belongings first then park and walk back to the hotel. Valet parking service is also available."

"It was a complete disaster, a den of filth. I couldn't shower or use the toilet because of the dirt. There was hair everywhere left by other guests, the shower cabins were awful, the beds and pillows were disgusting. I was humiliated, I couldn't sleep because of the filth, I left the hotel and spent the night outside. Aren't these hotels ever inspected? It's a complete disaster, it urgently needs an inspection."
