"Our stay was very good. The house is clean and complete. Amenities are all working. Rooms are comfy and nice. Air conditioning works really well. Location is front of the beach which is a great plus. The owner was very accomodating and very approachable. We did not encounter any problem. The owner is even suggesting some options for us and for our travel and needs. She is quick to reply to any of our queries. Very helpful with our needs including having us serviced by their car from and to of our destination (Spartan event). I would recommend this place very much. Exceeded my expectations. Really worth the pay and they went up and beyond. Thank you so much Ma’am Isabelle and Sir Erwin!"

"Our company, together with our employees, families, and friends, truly enjoyed our entire stay at Puerto de San Juan. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained. The staff were very warm, always smiling, and consistently greeted us. Special thanks to Ms. Ally and Sir Ayan for their exceptional assistance before and after the event—they were incredibly helpful to our team. The food was delicious and always freshly prepared. The resort’s amenities are excellent, and the spacious grounds are truly impressive and incomparable. We highly recommend this resort for large groups, whether for workmates or families with young children and seniors. Thank you for accommodating Power Zaver (435 pax) so well and making our stay successful. You ensured that we and our families had a truly memorable experience. ❤️"

"Front desk service was very bad, we arrived 1pm (early for our 2pm check-in) since hotels usually already have the rooms ready, but we received our room at 2:30PM !! no apologies from the front desk, we didnt even receive details for the breakfast buffet. the whole lobby was full of people waiting to be checked-in. Our shower was busted, reported also to front desk for repair but wasnt fixed. One of our friends also had an issue with them, the front desk was very rude to them and didnt want to transfer the call to the manager. Other than that the rest of the staff was very polite and attentive."

"Theres a lot of cats that would even go on top of the table while you eat. Also rooms werent to noise free. You can hear the kids outside screaming. Staff are accomodating just sad we couldnt extend due to room availability. The pool is nice too. The location is perfect."

"The Balay is a very homely place built in traditional Philippines style, so it’s airy, cool and peaceful. Staff are lovely - very helpful. It’s basic but very good value for the money and will give a flavour of Philippines life. Easy access to many local attractions, such as the town plaza, the Halo-halo Iloko eatery. Tricycles will take you anywhere you want to go. Parking is available on the courtyard to the hotel. Free breakfast on the roof!"

"The wifi signal was difficult in the pool area and we had to ask the front desk multiple times to fix the room wifi. The shower water was also very slow. The cafeteria has no onsite waiters, you will have to look for them in order to order. The aircon wasn't cold enough for a room that's for 4 pax so we had to ask for an extra fan in the room. But the pool is good especially if you have kids. The beach area is also clean and not crowded so that's a good point. The food price is also affordable. The location if good for those who have private cars but i'll be quite far for commuters to find places to eat outside of the hotel."

"You are paying European prices for the food that is distinctly average. Whilst the setting is lovely the food is very expensive and very ordinary . The portions were modest, the meat was rubbery and vegetables seemed like they came straight out of the freezer. We ordered a pizza, two drinks and two small platers and we ended up paying over 2200 PH (which in Euro is around 37Euro!)"
