"This place is amazing! They offer trekking tours in the jungle. We didn’t have much time due to flight issues, but the hotel staff was extremely helpful and made sure that we could go on the jungle trek. We had 2 amazing guides in the jungle that the hotel provided. They had good humor, knew alot about the rainforest and teached us many things. We felt safe in the guides hands. We only had 1 night in our room since we came 1 day later than expected. However, the room was really good. We had a lot of space and a big bathroom with a really nice shower. We had a nice warm shower after our 2 days in the jungle. The hotel also arranged a special surprise for my girlfriend as I requested. Super nice of them. Something they didn’t have to do, but did just to satisfy their customers. Extremely wholesome of them Can recommend this hotel 100%"

"I stayed 2 nights at Mountain View Cottages. Although the room was very basic, I think this room was the best place from which you had an amazing view of the mountains. And where you could also hear the gibbons in the morning. The people were incredibly kind and always went the extra mile, especially when I wasn't feeling well at all. Kudos! I did a beautiful trek from here; it was an experience where an orangutan was even spotted in the wild."

"Top location... anyone who makes the effort to walk here from (busy) Bukit Lawang will be immediately rewarded and will immediately end up 100% in the jungle. From the balcony we saw Gibbons flying from one tree to another, Macaques marching through the garden and swimming in the river. We did that ourselves too. The place is pure and idyllic and an absolute must, without any reservations. Aca and its staff (Nofal, Yanta etc.) are available every minute. Top guys and always in a good mood. After our stay we traveled back to civilization by jungle taxi (read: on a raft) and even did a jungle trek at night. Unforgettable..."

"Very pleasant, nice, lovely, quit stay. In nature bit remote but still in neighbourhood of small village, possible to "swim" in low river. Nice forest for Jungle Trekking and Oerang Oetangs. Rooms clean, nice, with balcony. Lovely bridge over the river to arrive there. Friendly personeel, good food, included breakfast also nice and good. And also lots of things to do."
