A BIG Thank you to Prassath, Iqa, Azhar and Haikal for giving good service on my stay at The Concept Hotel Langkawi. The room is quiet, clean sheets and a powerful hot/cold shower that I appreciate. On my 6 nights stay, the staffs were attentive as one morning before 5am there was a power trip and was rectified asap. GOOD Job! Will recommend staying here!

Don't be fooled by the 4.5 rating, because I certainly was! The only thing this hotel offers is big rooms! And not much else! The location is a big disadvantage, because all the main attractions are far away. You would either have to get a taxi every time, or rent a car or scooter. Car is better because of the distances, but it's more expensive. We were very happy that the hotel offers scooter rentals. However, sometimes the scooters are all in use, so then you're stuck. We were only able to get a scooter from our second day at the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Back to the rooms - they had white lighting, which is a bit tasteless and makes it a bit too casual. You can fix that with the bedside lamps, though. The rooms also have mini fridges, which is always a plus point. My main issue was the bathroom; the placement / height of the wash basin, with the tiny shelf directly on top of the faucet - barely giving any space in between - was VERY uncomfortable to use. There is a normal way in which things are meant to be positioned, but this was completely absurd. The toilet and shower were all *one* area, albeit big. No boundaries, no borders, no cut-off point separating the two. So when you shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet - and stays that way. I wouldn't have minded, had they provided wipers. The toilet paper was not great quality, and its holder was worse - when trying to put the roll in, it broke in the first instance. The toilet seat was slightly flimsy. The shower pressure was good, but the water not as hot as desired - despite keeping the geyser on the whole time. There was no proper space to keep things like shampoo. Breakfast: They have the shortest breakfast timings I've seen at any hotel 😂, namely 8am-10am (two hours). It is served inside the room. They give us a choice from four local items (from which we have to choose *one* for each day), plus toast & butter/jam, plus tea or coffee. We have to make the tea/coffee ourselves with the kettle in our room. They already apply the butter/jam on the toast for you, which is good for lazy people like me. And it was quite tasty! The local items were okay; it varies from palate to palate, whether one would like them or not. I liked three out of four, though they were quite oily. All that said, it was THE most basic breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. It only works as a preventive measure from going crazy with hunger right when you get up in the morning 😂 Speaking of food - because of the location of the place, there are no restaurants you can get to by foot (as far as I know), and even GrabFood Delivery had very limited options (we survived on ordering McDonalds for lunch). One good thing was that, unlike other hotels, there was a water dispenser in the lobby, free to use whenever we wanted. Hence, we never ran out of water. Very new place, ideal for families as the rooms have plenty of beds and pull out mattress. Swimming pool just outside the room. Essentially quiet place with nice clean air feeling. Instagram worthy place esp at night with all the neon lights. You have personal parking lot infront of your unit if you book the family size multi bedroom unit. Bonus, there's an amazing pizza (its a small shack but the guy is trained in italy and makes a mean chili oil for your pizza crust) place very nearby and the Dream Forest is nearby also. Definitely coming back here soon.

Nice hotel to stay with friends and family. Wonderful outside decoration. Rooms are not very large, but perfect for the tourists who just sleep and take showers in the rooms and roam around all the day long.

One of the best places to stay in Langkawi, definitely will stay again if we ever return. Room was Instagram worthy. The pool was warm, refreshing and regularly cleaned. Great location right on the Cenang beach strip. Right across from the aquarium and within short walking distance of the beach and many good local restaurants. However the hotels layout gives you a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Housekeeping was 10/10 — refreshments, beverages and toiletries were replenished daily. New towels are provided if you leave the old on the floor, and new linens are provided upon request.

I stay for two night with my family 4 adult , 1 child age 11 and next hotel is Westin in Kuah, I am beyond satisfied for choosing this hotel,very excellent service from everyone. I could remember their name from front desk staff, asrul, Dini. Cafe Restaurant, hazim ( this boy service really outstanding! :D , bellboy Mady with his warmth smile ,helping me carrying my luggage. And not to forget Mr Marinaren at lounge who have been very attentive and more others. All these people are the main reason i would come back here again for holiday. Thank you for making my holiday memorable. All the amenities make me doesn’t want to go out anymore,while food is delicious and view is spectacular . Couldn’t ask for more. ( Park Royal langkawi service way better than Westin )

Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! So far it meet my expectation. Just one thing, the hotel parking too limited. Overall, this place will be my favourite place to stay in langkawi sith affordable price.

Front desk service is excellent, efficient, full of smiles, I couldn't ask for more. However the sea view I got was one that came with two rows of sandbags and iron bridge on a stretch of beach that's without lounge chairs and definitely not suitable for swimming. The chalet's design is pretty old evident from the window lock and balcony door lock. Set dinner at Spice Market was out of this world! Must try! There are two restaurants available for hotel breakfast every morning and you can visit both every day. Housekeeping was really slow, I hope they can increase staff efficiency in this department since they even forgot to include a hair dryer for me in the room and I had to call to ask for one. I hereby include a picture of their hairdryer, I'm surprised a 4 digits per night hotel offers such a tiny hairdryer. I wasn't expecting Dyson but this is just wow. anyway, allow me to repeat, front desk staff was fabulous!

This is the place for people who: Like a hotel that is a 20 min drive from the main street Like attentive staff that remember your name Take care of things when you bring it up. Like a good view of the beach but don't want to swim in it (because you can't) Enjoy a good buffet and dinner options Enjoy renting an e-bike to get places The room is solid and they were responsive with fixing the AC and moving me to a different room when the AC crapped out. The staff is incredibly responsible and communicates well with eachother. The only thing I would suggest is compensation for problems. They fixed problems but merely just that. A simple sorry and that's all. I would go into specifics but it's not necessary but if there's an issue I'd suggest giving something surprising and personalized keep the customer coming back. It's a lovely place with amazing beds and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks to all the staff that remembered my name

The location of the hotel is perfect for travellers who like to stay by the beach and experience a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is a hop skip and jump away and also has direct access from the hotel room. All sight seeing locations are equidistant and easily reachable. Added advantage is its proximity to the airport. The hotel staff are kind, friendly and cheerful. There was a slight confusion with my room allocation, but it was swiftly managed by the reception staff who upgraded me to a room with sea view. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained. The hotel did offer only breakfast in its restaurant. It would have been an added advantage if they had a fully functional kitchen as it is hard to find food (especially for a vegetarian) close by.
