"The room was just the right size, not too big and not too small, and it faced Mayon Volcano directly, which was a fantastic view. Getting around was super convenient since the city is so small. Plus, it's very close to big shopping malls, so you can easily find all sorts of delicious food. If you're planning a trip to Mayon Volcano, I highly recommend staying here. The only thing to note is not to check in too early, as there won't be anyone on duty."

"The Mayon view from The Oriental Legazpi was truly beautiful, and I appreciate that my request for an upper room with a view was granted. However, the overall stay was disappointing. The staff were not very approachable, restaurant service was poor, water was not readily offered, and we were even told to call the staff when we were ready to order. There was also loud noise from a lobby photoshoot, weak water pressure in the shower that took around 30 minutes to resolve, broken tiles and visible maintenance issues, no menu list in the room, and the breakfast buffet felt rushed even before the stated closing time. The view is excellent, but good view alone is not enough. Guests pay not only for scenery, but also for service, comfort, cleanliness, maintenance, and basic hospitality. If not because of the Mayon view, I would not return."

"We booked this hotel for 1 night stay in Legaspi City. Opun check in the receptionest ask for 300pesos as per hotel protocol I dont know for what but doesn't stated in the booking and we book two rooms so we paid 600 hundred pesos. The room for me is so clean the only problem is there is no lock on toilet, bidet is not working properly also the heater. But for someone looking for cheaper hotel this hotel is okay for only one night stay to relax overall is good for me."

"We booked this hotel in October 2025 for today for 3 nights for 2 rooms, Had email to ask if I would like to cancel but declined, had numerous messages about what time we would arrive, when arrived was told there was no room for us as a wedding had been booked in, they offered no solutions until we insisted on them resolving the issue, we were shown to another hotel which was awful and they just shrugged their shoulders, we eventually found another hotel which was twice the price and not as nice so beware as they don’t care and will just double book for more money"
