"Really conveniently located for our needs. Nice spacious room Comfortable bed with two options if needed Coffee, tea etc. available when needed. Breakfast although self produce, fave enough options and variety to start the day and journey home. Staff we saw were pleasant and very helpful. Would recommend. Thank you."

"If you want basic then this is for you. The bed was nice but the pillows were terrible, both myself and my OH woke with very stiff necks! The room was absolutely freezing and I ended up sleeping in a hoodie just to keep warm. The "hospitality" tray was a joke with only enough milk for one cup of coffee - good job the OH can drink it black! The tv was incredibly small, I don't think I've ever seen one that small before, difficult to actually watch anything. I usually keep a glass of water by the bed but there weren't any glasses! I really wanted a bath to warm up but unfortunately we only had a shower, that's when I discovered that there wasn't any of the usual complimentary shower gel or shampoo/conditioner! There WAS a bottle of hand wash by the sink, but I certainly wasn't going to use that as a body wash & shampoo! It was mostly clean although it looked pretty bad around the bottom of the shower screen and there were some awful stains on the carpet. So glad we only had to endure one night! Never saw any staff except when we first arrived and were given our key. Shame really as it could've been really nice!"

"Really warm welcome from Sarah and the staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. Recommend the traditional English breakfast, which was delicious. The accommodation is very basic and small, but very clean and warm. Look out for three friendly cats. We were able to park right outside our room and throughly enjoyed our short stay."
