"I stayed here whilst on an organised group walking holiday. Everything about this comfortable, spotless hotel was superb. The management and all staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful -nothing was too much trouble. But it is the food that deserves special mention - my goodness, it was simply stupendously fabulous. Imaginative menus, great fresh and locally sourced ingredients and all cooked and presented to a very high standard -and so much of it. It was a complete pleasure to stay here -highly recommended. "

"Everything was fine except for the mattress, It was extremely soft because I have a back condition.The lack of fridge in the bedroom it was another pain point,we had some groceries and we needed to keep them cool . The sauna was great but a pitty it's not open All day. Also it would be good if the breakfast starts sooner, 7:30 was late for us."

"Alpenhotel Karwendel is an absolute delight!! We stay in the Berglodge Apartments with direct access to the ski tracks and wonderful views of the valley and mountains. We eat in the hotel for the superb breakfast and evening meals. As we do not eat red meat there are always excellent options. After our morning skiing the 3/4 pension gives us the option for a lunch. The Wellness area with the infinity pool; comfort zones with mountain views and sauna is the place to relax and contemplate the peace. Aside from access to the Seefeld Region ski tracks there are many walks; and free bus services to Seefeld and Mittenwald. The staff are really friendly and very welcoming with lots of advice. We love this place!! John & Karen"

"This was an excellent base for our family group taking our first 'steps' in langlauf skiing. A lovely apartment, clean and comfortable close to everything we needed - ski tracks, supermarket and restaurants. The proprietor, Martin, exceptionally welcoming and genuinely helpful. We couldn't find fault and hope to come back."
