"This was my second visit to the Karwendel. Although I was convinced that it would be it be possible to improve on my first trip, I was wrong. The second time was even better! This house operates on the basis that every member of staff is part of a team, and that team is dedicated to ensuring that guests enjoy a friendly, relaxing and comfortable holiday, whilst paying attention to the local environment and the local economy. The hotel’s location is perfect for hikers, cross-country skiers, cyclists and for this who prefer to rely on public transport. It is a peaceful part of the Leutasch that enjoys the best snow conditions and a long season. Even my small single room was very comfortable with everything I needed. Like the rest of the hotel, it was well maintained, spotlessly clean and even had a small balcony. The hotel’s peaceful atmosphere ensures that there is no unwanted or obtrusive noise. I slept extremely well in my very comfortable bed. The welcome at check-in is always warm, as it the check-out. Staff in the restaurant are outstanding. They are friendly, calm and professional. Because they looked after me most often, I highlight Robert, Petra and Zina. However, it was clear from other guests’ reactions that the same high standards apply throughout. The same was true of cleaning staff, people looking after the Wellness area and those in the Genussmobil at lunchtime. The spa is really well equipped. The swimming pool has an amazing view of the Hohe Munde. There are plenty of steam baths and saunas, ensuring that relaxing never feels too busy. I particularly like the split between the very modern Wellness Lounge and the gemütlich Garten Spa. There really is something for everyone! Something for everyone also describes the amazing choice of delicious, locally sourced and high quality meals served in the restaurant. It is a mystery to me how Herr Rödlach and his team produce meals of such a high standard every breakfast, lunch and dinner, but they are very skilled! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and I hope it won’t be too long before I return."

"We were completely satisfied. Here, the guest truly is king. Beautifully furnished and spacious rooms with incredibly comfortable beds. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, and the evening meal was also excellent. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you again for the thoughtful birthday gesture; I hadn't expected it at all, but it was a wonderful example of the hotel's genuine hospitality."

"This was an excellent base for our family group taking our first 'steps' in langlauf skiing. A lovely apartment, clean and comfortable close to everything we needed - ski tracks, supermarket and restaurants. The proprietor, Martin, exceptionally welcoming and genuinely helpful. We couldn't find fault and hope to come back."

"Nice and spacious apartment complex with good facilities. All necessary amenities are present, the apartments are very clean and reasonably spacious. The group room also has good facilities, and there is a lovely garden surrounding the house. The house itself does not have much of a view, but the surroundings are beautiful and you only have to walk down the street to enjoy them. There are plenty of walking opportunities in the area and charming villages worth visiting. In short, worth a return visit!"

"The heart of the hosts is like the very fine food almost no longer to overcome. The new wellness area is simply dreamy. The hotel is very quiet and yet everything is very good and short to reach, whether with bus or car. Simple top!"
