Grand Hotel Bellevue - Grand Place ★★★★
"A good stay"
B&B Hotel Lille Centre Grand Palais ★★★
"Glad for them to be availanle aftet problem with original accommodation"
Hotel Ambassadeur ★★
"Excellent location in the centre, and a short walk from the Eurostar. Rooms are clean and have all you need for a good price. Breakfast basic but fine."
Le Napoleon ★★★
"Very good for traveller"
Best Western Premier Why Hotel ★★★★
"Friendly staff, nice location. Sound insulation extremely poor, you’re literally sleeping on busy streets even wearing earplugs. Sleeping for 6+ hours is impossible. And I don’t know why Trip.com charges 27GBP per person breakfast, definitely don’t worth it."
Holiday Inn Express LILLE CENTRE by IHG ★★★
"This hotel is very well located, because it is very central in Lille. You can do everything on foot."
JOST Hôtel Lille Centre ★★★
"The room was spacious, and it was good to have hangers and hooks available. However, there was only one shower room and one toilet for our floor, which was not sufficient. There were no hooks in the shower room, making it difficult to hang clothes or towels, and there were also no racks to place shower products. The ventilation in both the toilet and shower room did not seem adequate, and no hairdryers were available. That said, the shower room was clean. Overall, the stay was decent for the price."
OKKO HOTELS Lille Centre ★★★★
"Nice and easy if you can afford"

Ibis Lille Centre Grand Palais
"Clean, meeting Ibis standards. Easy to walk to using Google Maps. Comfortable bed, good sleep. The hotel is easy to find and safe to walk around at night."
Hôtel Barrière Lille
"It's pretty good. The desk is very convenient. It's very convenient for business travel. I didn't have time to have breakfast, so I can't comment on the restaurant. It would be better if the room was a little bigger."
L'Hermitage Gantois, Autograph Collection
"Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect"
Au 30 Lille Centre Grand Palais
"An astonishing establishment to discover. A magnificent bedroom, a bathroom with shower and balneotherapy, cloud bedding. Great stay! To plan if you leave early: the restaurant only opens at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast."
ibis budget Lille Centre
"Great stay"
Mister Bed Lomme
"It’s super weird It smells smoke , dirty nothing good I dont recommend"
Aparthotel Adagio Lille Centre Grand Place
"Clean hotel Pretty decor Very nice location Great welcome"
Ibis Styles Lille Centre Gare Beffroi
"The hotel is not far from Lille's two train stations, about a 10-minute walk. Located in the center of Lille, it is also convenient to the nearby square. Check-in was smooth and the front desk service was very enthusiastic. The breakfast was not very rich but it was enough to fill the stomach."
Montempô Appart'hôtel Lille Gares
"The welcome was adequate, nothing more! The apartment was very nice. New, but already some things were missing, and they were charged if not mentioned. The breakfast wasn't good quality, especially the drinks, and they didn't replenish them. I made a request and was met with a dismissive sigh, as if I was bothering them. Furthermore, I was charged twice. I'm waiting for a refund. They're just starting out, but for this level of service, you'd expect a much higher standard. The staff is probably poorly trained... Very limited parking. Book well in advance, and be aware that the spaces aren't suitable for SUVs."
Hotel de La Paix
"A lovely charming hotel, perfectly located right in the heart of Lille. The breakfast was quite standard, and the extra charge for eggs felt a bit steep for my taste. However, they offered a great selection of artisanal jams. Definitely recommended."
Greet Hotel Lille Gare Flandres
"Really great, I recommend! Good breakfast, nice place and polite!"
Novotel Suites Gare Lille Europe
"Excellent location literally opposite the train station and Westfield. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Very spacious room with nice toiletries. Great cleaning service. Will definitely be back real soon. Shame there's no kids facilities though."
Hilton Lille
"Great"
Eklo Hotels Lille
"Lovely hotel..especially when it's weekend lots of family and kids makes the hotel even more lively..live the service that fatu gave us she was very helpful and have Lovely smile on her face"
B&B Hotel Lille Lillenium Eurasanté
"I had a great experience, staff were very polite. If you arrive at night, pay attention as the hotel is easily missed."
Appart'City Confort Lille Grand Palais
"The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent with an anti-waste service. Comfortable bed and the room had everything we needed. The carpet in the room was a bit worn, and it was already warm even though there wasn't a heatwave yet. The cleaning wasn't perfect."

Hotels in Lille: Where to Stay in the City Center, Euralille & Wazemmes
About Lille
Lille sits in northern France close to the Belgian border; its architecture carries a strong Flemish influence, with stepped gable facades lining the Grand Place, the city's central square. Once a textile and trading hub, Lille held the European Capital of Culture title in 2004 and has since developed a reputation for museums, street food, and a lively bar scene. Getting here is straightforward: Paris is about 1 hour by TGV, and London is about 1 hour 20 minutes away via Eurostar through the Channel Tunnel.
Where to Stay in Lille
Lille's hotels cluster into three main zones: the walkable City Center around the Grand Place and the two train stations, the modern Euralille business district east of Lille-Europe station, and the residential Wazemmes neighborhood to the southwest. Each zone suits a different travel style.
Lille City Center
The City Center zone puts you within walking distance of Lille-Flandres station, the Grand Place, and the Old Lille (Vieux-Lille) shopping and dining streets. It's the most practical base for first-time visitors.

Euralille

| Hotel | Highlights | Book |
|---|---|---|
| Hilton Lille | 4-star, rated 4.5/5; from US$97.44/night; full-service hotel directly connected to the Euralille shopping complex | Book on Trip.com |

Wazemmes

| Hotel | Highlights | Book |
|---|---|---|
| JOST Hôtel Lille Centre | 3-star, rated 4.3/5; from US$27.73/night; one of the lowest starting rates in Lille, good for travelers willing to be a short metro ride from the center | Book on Trip.com |
Lille Hotels by Style
Here's how the seven hotels group by travel style.
Business and Conference Travel
The Euralille zone is the practical choice for business travelers. Hilton Lille (from US$97.44/night) has full meeting facilities and is steps from Lille-Europe station. Hotel Lille Europe (from US$71.04/night) is another solid option in the same zone at a lower rate. Weekday corporate demand tends to push Euralille rates up; weekend stays often come in cheaper.
Design and Social Atmosphere
Mama Shelter Lille (from US$88.84/night) in Euralille takes a design-led approach with communal spaces and a lively bar and restaurant. OKKO HOTELS Lille Centre (from US$95.66/night) in the City Center runs an all-inclusive model; breakfast, snacks, and a shared lounge are folded into the room rate, which suits travelers who want a social base without paying à la carte.
Value Picks
For the lowest rates, JOST Hôtel Lille Centre in Wazemmes starts from US$27.73/night and carries a 4.3/5 rating. In the City Center, Lille City Hotel starts from US$48.05/night and B&B Hotel Lille Centre Grand Palais from US$55.62/night; both are three-star options with solid ratings and central locations.
When to Book Lille Hotels
- Book well in advance for the Braderie de Lille flea market (first weekend of September), one of Europe's largest street markets; this is Lille's busiest hotel weekend of the year.
- Lille City Center and Euralille are the most walkable zones relative to the two train stations and the Grand Place; if mobility or luggage logistics matter, these zones save you the extra transfer.
- Business hotels in Euralille tend to charge more on weekdays due to corporate demand; staying over a weekend can bring rates down noticeably.
- Wazemmes offers the lowest nightly rates in the dataset and is a short metro or bike ride from the city center; worth considering if you're on a tight budget and comfortable using public transit.
- For the best Lille hotel rates overall, book at least 2-3 weeks in advance for peak periods like the Braderie or summer school holidays, when City Center inventory fills fastest.
Lille Travel Essentials
Getting Around
- Lille operates a VAL automated metro (lines 1 and 2), trams, and buses through the Ilévia network; a day pass covers all three modes.
- The city center is compact enough to walk between the Grand Place, Vieux-Lille, and the two main train stations in under 20 minutes.
- Lille-Lesquin International Airport (LIL) is about 10 km southeast of the center; taxis and shuttles serve the route.
Local Food and Markets
- Local dishes lean Flemish-French: try carbonnade flamande (beef slow-cooked in beer) and moules-frites at restaurants in Vieux-Lille.
- The Marché de Wazemmes runs Sunday mornings and sells fresh produce, street food, textiles, and second-hand goods; one of the liveliest markets in northern France.
- Rue de Gand in Vieux-Lille has a dense stretch of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of City Center hotels.
Entry and Visas
- France is in the Schengen Area; US citizens can stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa for tourism or short visits.
- The EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) has been fully operational since April 2026; US passport holders are registered on arrival at the border with fingerprints and a photo.
- ETIAS (the EU travel authorization system) is a separate program still pending launch; check the official ETIAS site for the current status before travel.
Weather and Best Time to Visit
- Lille has a temperate oceanic climate: summers are mild (average highs around 24°C / 75°F in July), and winters are cool and damp.
- Rain falls year-round, but July and August tend to be the driest months and are the most comfortable for exploring on foot.
- The Braderie de Lille in early September draws large crowds; if you prefer quieter streets, visit in late spring or early autumn outside the flea market weekend.
