"We had the misfortune of arriving on a day when the city was in the process of doing work on the power lines. Consequently, the electricity on the entire street was turned off for hours. The hotel staff, specifically front desk agent Eliza, Barbara (a manager I think), and Angelika (housekeeping), went above and beyond typical customer service and very kindly offered to assist us carrying our heavy luggage up the steps to our room since the elevator was not in operation. The room was clean and spacious with a nice walk-in shower. There were a couple of negatives about the hotel, however. It is somewhat isolated without many restaurants nearby. It is not fully accessible as there are steps to get into the building and then a sunken floor in the lobby requiring that you climb down a couple of steps and then up a couple of steps to reach the front desk. Also, there are no laundry facilities or service available on site, which I believe is advertised on the hotel's website. Overall, however, this is a fine hotel for a short stay."

"Hotel is very nice, but restaurant on 1st floor is horrible. Food quality is really good. Sadly, but Staff does not know what service is, they have not been even close to it. They can spoil all your evening. Hotel I recommend, but never go to restaurant on 1st floor. Especially try to avoid waiter named Marcin."

It was a bit cold in the restaurant and the dim lighting created an atmosphere that was not very pleasant. Overall, a good hotel that I will choose again if I return to the area."

"Impressive stay at the hotel with original concept in a cosy stylish old building. The genuine atmosphere based on old cinema vibes, there is even a small cinema hall on the premices with a classic films shown in the evening. Very friendly welcoming professional service. The room is spacious and cozy, with good internet, there is kitchen corner and all amenities provided, and to crown it all, - a high quality coffee machine with capsules available all day. There is only one note, - for those who care about healthy sleep and for China guests in particular the mattress should nave been a bit less soft. The breakfast is good, with original local notes like zurek soup and fresh apple pancakes, the in-house restaurant is also worth visiting, but the adjacent area also bustles with nice restaurants and cafes to enjoy."

"This place is lovely and in the main street of Lodz. + lovely athmostphere + great location, the main street of Lodz + small, stylish and tidy room + good mattress + small fridge and kettle + many restaurants and shops just outside of the place. - no fan or AC ＞ hot inside at night - area is noisy until restaurants close as there are many restaurants on the street AND on the inner courtyard - you can hear all noise also from the stairs and corridors, would be good to remind people to be quiet when they get back there at nigh - if a professional place like this ask customers sign different papers those should be also translated in some other languages too (can't expect people to be fluent in Polish) "

"We stayed at the hotel after attending a concert at Atlas Arena. The hotel is very close to the venue, within walking distance, and also conveniently located near the train station. The room was small and standard, and the restaurant was nice."

"We stayed here at the end of September. At night the temperature outside was around 10°C, and the room was extremely cold. There was no heating at all – not even radiators, which is very strange for a four-star hotel. The only option was the air conditioner blowing warm air, but it was directed straight at the bed, which was very uncomfortable, so we had to turn it off. As a result, the room simply could not be heated. In the bathroom there was a small infrared heater, but it was almost useless and didn’t really warm the space. Taking a shower and stepping out into such cold air was very unpleasant. Luckily, we stayed only one night, but we were freezing the whole time. Definitely not what you expect from a hotel of this category."

"I stayed 3 nights for business purposes. The hotel has personality, and the decor is inspired by the history of Lodz, which was mainly the textile industry. The room, public areas, meeting space, and the bar and restaurant are beautifully designed. I can't fault anything. The staff and managers are exceptional - everyone is friendly, helpful, smiling, and professional. I had a great stay. And the big shopping centre is just around the corner, famous Piotrowska street 10 min away. "
