"The good news first: The staff could be more professional, but they are all very friendly and courteous. The in-house restaurant deserves special praise: the service and food are absolutely up to the standards of the hotel (4 stars). The condition of the rooms is not up to par: the furniture, although relatively new, looks cheap. The double sliding door to the bathroom does not close properly. It is not possible to close the bathroom off from the room so that it is not visible or soundproof. We had the problem in both rooms. It is completely incomprehensible why such a problem is not remedied. Very unpleasant!"

"I stayed there alone for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The room was very large and clean, and the staff were very friendly. The location is excellent, with a train station directly opposite. The hotel has a pub, and fortunately, the doors are well soundproofed, so you don't hear a thing."

"We slept in hotel Maien during our trip to Italy. We arrived very late because of all the stops with our toddler but everything was arranged and we could settle down right away. Administration would come tomorrow... It was a beautiful big clean room, and the view was really great. Holiday feeling was complete. The breakfast was perfect, our daughter got her own cup of 'coffee' (hot milk) and it was super cozy. Our dog was with us and we didn't even charge for that, we often don't feel very welcome with a dog but here we definitely do. In addition, the parking spaces were full upon arrival and this was also resolved immediately. For our next trip to Italy we don't have to look for a place to stay and we make sure we are a bit earlier so that we can enjoy it longer!!!"
