"Set outside of Lymington, which is a 20 - 30 minute walk away. Large grounds with lawns. Outdoor pool. Children's play area. Tennis courts. Indoor pool in an separate complex that also houses the breakfast room. Both are not in keeping with the charm and style of the older main hotel. We had a bedroom in one of the outside 2-storey more modern self contained units. You have to walk outdoors to access them. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath and seperate walk in shower. Heating was totally inadequate for the size of bedroom - just a very feeble electric warm air heater with no ability to increase / decrease the setting AND it kept cutting out. Would have frozen on a winter's evening! Food & drinks in the evening hotel was acceptable, but quite expensive. Breakfast in the "spa" building was self service and chaotic. Overall paying 4* prices for a 3* facility."

"What here on a recommendation and it was such a hidden gem! Great food, great drinks with some wonderful company. Decor was astounding and the staff was amazing! Zac was so tentative with our needs and gave some great recommendations on what drinks I should have because I couldn't decide, great bloke! Will definitely be coming back!! Thanks Zac for making it a pleasurable evening!"

"We just returned from a night at this lovely B and B and were so impressed! The room was very clean and comfortable, (the best makeup mirror I have ever used and Frazier was kind enough to share the link with me, already ordered!)! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, prepared with care from fresh quality ingredients. Service was very warm and friendly but also totally professional. Fantastic location, super close to the lovely town of Lymington and easy access to the forest too. I would highly recommend this B and B and I feel confident we will be returning! Thanks you Frazier and your wonderful Team, you set the bar!"

"They wouldnt let my 14 year old stay in a room on his own. When his grandma was only a floor below him. We have stayed in mutilple hotels like The George and The royal both on the isle of wight. Have let him stay with no problems at all. Theyre was nothing to tell us and you have to properly be looking for the policy its jot easy to access. The staff in the end gave us a full refund but left us never coming back. We have never had this problem and its complety ridiclous. Duty manager says its the law but can not find anything about that relating to this. Very very disspointed. We were looking forward to this trip"

"Well what can I say Everything about here makes you not want to leave, the beds are so comfortable you don’t want to get up, the shower you don’t want to leave and the breakfast you never want it to end. We understand fully know why this has got such excellent reviews and it’s well deserved ,the attention to detail, the pristine styling of the rooms is like a home from home. The location was perfect 5min walk to high street to get your picnic bits for days in the new forest and the coast . Ps The photos do not do it justice A big thank you to Fraser and Maria who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is positive and a happy one."
