"Perfect location near the volcano, with nice meals and nice comfy rooms. The only drawback being having to give notice when wanting a hot shower. Would recommend."

"Stayed with friends and had a great time. Aracely was a lovely host making us feel most welcome. She provided dinner and breakfast, both of which we really enjoyed. She had lots of local knowledge which we found helpful. Excellent rooms and, even though it was very cold having arrived from Quito, we were really warm in bed and slept well. A really great location, just a couple of minutes off the main highway - so easy to reach from Quito and also easy to get to Cotopaxi National Park. "

"On our way back to Quito after visiting the Coxopaxi National Park we stopped at the hotel for lunch. We started with Locro de Papa and then Trout and vegetables. The food was all very tasty and plentiful. Once we had finished the meal we sat in the lounge which had amazing views of the Cocopaxi Volcano."

"Used the restaurant and really liked it however we also had a ride booked with the horses stables owned by this lodge. It was absolutely horrible and we refused to ride. The horses were in a terrible condition- severely underweight and starving, badly fitting tack, rusty bits, shoes hanging off and the men in charge of them were more interested in showing off than the welfare of the horses. They also had no regard for the weight of the riders and the horses were literally buckling under the weight of riders too heavy for them. It was soul destroying to see and had me in floods of tears…. This place should be closed down on animal welfare grounds- please please don’t ride the horses there until they improve the care and welfare standards- there is absolutely no excuse for it"
