"A place with amazing views and wonderful staff. The food was delicious, and the staff was kind and attentive. 3. If you plan to stay here, keep in mind that there are a lot of insects flying around, and if you don't have your own car or bike, you won't be able to leave. There are no issues with the room itself and the amenities. The staff also provides a Bluetooth speaker with good sound for a good evening. We were very pleased with the place itself. 😊"

"The way up is a small concrete road. Driving up yourself is not recommended, especially before getting close to the hotel. The road is very steep. The hotel has a shuttle service on schedule. The ascent is at 2:00 PM and the descent is at 8:30 AM. The hotel is located on a steep hill. There are stairs connecting to the various rooms. There is a fairly large swimming pool. Breakfast on the day we stayed included fried rice with eggs, fried eggs, sausage, salad, and bread. We thought the food looked too ordinary. It could have been made to look better."

"The location of this villa is a bit far. Whe arrived there almost 22:00. We can’t enjoy their facilities that day, but we used their swimming pool after the day. The swimming pool had some insects floating on the water. The rooms were clean but with so many insects outside e.g. 🪰🦟🦗🦎. However, that wasn’t a big deal coz it is understandable that there will be many insects as there inside the hills and there were no insects inside the rooms. If you are afraid of insects, you should be aware of choosing it. On the contrary, their staffs were so nice, friendly and helpful!!! Thank you for their supporting service!!!:)"

"2nd Visit for me Location of this resort is in the middle of Rain Forest area. So it is Lush green The resort has been built very beautifully. Rooms are amazing and clean. So the cleaning staff is doing well. Beautiful place for a secluded vacation The location is secluded so make sure you have enough petrol in car and munching snacks. Though small shops are there nearby by drive. Key improvement areas are 1. There was kettle and cups in room, but no tea or coffee or milk. When asked, the staff was not clear. 2. Breakfast has to be only at 9am. due to staff and restaurant. Seems like guests have to abide by rules. ha ha. Not flexible staff. 3. There is no one after 5pm. only 2 bottles of water in room. should keep 4 bottles atleast. most hotels have that, even cheaper than this place 5. The front staff is more Focussed on the cafe and restaurant. Not much on guests staying. Infact one lady in restaurant was on her phone playing games and she said if you want to eat it's ok otherwise you can find some other place. :) I felt Lack of training to manage such a great place."

"Lisu Lodge is a beautiful place. It’s a collection of immaculately constructed bamboo lodges set in picturesque grounds, in the stunning Thai hills. The rooms are surprisingly comfortable - you take your shoes off before going up the steps into the lodge, and the woven bamboo floor is lovely underfoot. There’s no air conditioning, but with a fan and the air circulation through and around the building, it wasn’t needed at all - we all slept very well. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need (a good en-suite for example). And it’s fun being in such a different environment! Plus it’s all so well-kept - really clean and well-maintained, from the buildings to the pretty gardens. We also had some fantastic food, including our best meal so far in Thailand. It’s well-judged with a range of options and heat-levels, so me and my husband (who love spicy food) and our 8 year old (less keen) were all happy. And it was a great experience eating on Thai floor cushions around a low table on our lodge verandah. For lunch and dinner we were served a range of options (for example dinner was chicken green curry, a mince stir fry, pork ribs, eggs in tamarind, a soup with meatballs, and rice, followed by fruit and banana in coconut milk from their own gardens). For breakfast you could choose American (eggs, bacon, toast), healthy (fruit, yogurt and an incredible toasted granola), or Thai. And it was all delicious! But the best thing about it was the care and attention of the staff. You could really feel the effort they made to make us feel welcome and comfortable, as well as in looking after the property. I’m so pleased we decided to come - it’s been one of the highlights of our holiday. And we really enjoyed our rafting trip on the local river while we were here - stunningly beautiful, with (small, not too scary) sections of white water interspersed with calmer sections drifting past friendly picnicking Thai families. All of Thailand has suffered with the lack of tourists due to Covid - I really hope Lisu Lodge gets the visitors it deserves very soon. We would definitely come back!Highly recommended. "
