"Idyllic setting, it's a shame the holiday park is so neglected. Very tired and run down and bathrooms are not at all inviting with holes in the floors and moldy shower curtains. Owners need to up their game for one if the most popular tourist spots in the country"

Te Anau Manapouri Lake Hotel

"Don’t do it. Scary filthy room (bathroom skylight a mess of spiderwebs and dust along with spider in the tub). Restaurant closed. Reception closed (key in outdoor box for entry). Super dusty and cold room. Hair dryer worked, just barely as the handle kept collapsing. Bed was ok. Sheets seemed clean. Go the extra distance and stay in TeAnu."

Possum Lodge

"The house is small but cozy. The bed is comfortable, the linens are clean, and it was very comfortable. The shared kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The shared showers and toilets are clean. There's a relaxation area with board games, and there's also a separate area with table tennis. The location is excellent—right on the lake, with stunning views! The staff is very welcoming and friendly!"

Cabot Lodge

"Our days at Cabot Lodge were incredible! The accommodations were superb, the owners Brad and Breidi made us feel welcome. Our dinners were served by chef Rob and among the best we have ever had. Breakfast was made to order at a time we chose. Views of the lake and mountains breathtaking! Fiordland is not to be missed if you are going to New Zealand!"
