"A superb old property …. The public rooms were stunning with a truly authentic feel. The bedroom was huge and comfortable but needs some upkeep. The base of the bath was dreadful and the tiles could do with a good scrub. Blinds on windows didn’t work properly. Food was good although the dinner buffet lacking when compared to others we have had on our trip. Lunch was excellent, though overall food prices were quite expensive. The location is central making it easy to explore the town, and the staff and service were excellent. We enjoyed our stay."

The pool was very welcome for its relaxing and refreshing properties. Both breakfast and dinner were delightful and the staff couldn't have possibly been more attentive. Four rough Aussies on a bike tour loved it."

"Hotel the First Courtyard is a very pleasant place to stay. The room is next to the lovely garden and from the garden you are right on the mainstreet. Nevertheless we had no nuisance of the streetnoise. Next to the garden is a very good restaurant. Fine food. Restaurrant and rooms with bathroom are very clean. The staff is kind and helpfull. Three nice days we spent in this hotel."
