"New and very high quality apartments, good breakfast and comfy beds. Family owned and vey friendly staff. The location is good: only a few minutes walk from the ski lift and Mayhofen center. Supermarket is just down the road. We had half board included, which was in a nearby hotel, but it was not worth it. The food was mediocre, the drinks exceptionally expensive and the was not enough staff. Furthermore you come back with a smell of food in your clothes."

Heart Hotel Nordstern

"This hotel has lots of reviews but not via the TUI link. It is called Pension Nordstern or Hotel Nordstern - Part of Heart Hotels. It used to be part of the Stauss. The image and description TUI show on their website is different to where we stayed and if we would have know this before we booked we would not have stayed. The room was OK, spacious and clean but the decor is tired and old fashioned. Our room was very hot but it is normal in Austria because most hotels have no A/C or fan even in 30 degrees, fortunately it cooled down a good few degrees. It was noisy a couple of nights and we were woken around 1.30am with noise in the street from people that had been drinking. WiFI, non existent.....it seems. Breakfast, the boiled eggs are good but the scrambled egg is UPF. Sometimes you had to ask staff for more of something because they had not replenished soon enough. All staff were friendly and helpful. TUI has not added the correct photos or description on their website. No, I would not stay again and would pay a little more for a better hotel if I was to visit again. I would also recommend getting a hotel that includes evening meals"

"The apartment was clean, modern and had great facilities. With the hotel being relatively small there was a more personal feeling to the stay which you rarely feel when the place is bigger. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The best aspect was the location ideally situated in between the two main lift stations and close to the supermarket. Even though we were just behind the main street and close to the apre-ski bars there was no noise disturbance at all. Would definitely book here again."

"Location was premium right next to the Penkenbahn ski lift. Great Vibe in Mayrhofen for Santa December. Martin is a fantastic engaging host always free to help and answer every question we had. Rooms were very adequate and clean the 5 of us had plenty of room to move. Great ski storage room and very quiet at night. Thanks Martin"
