"What a beautiful spot! My husband and I were traveling around Sicily and had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property for 1 night in January. The husband and wife owners were so accommodating and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. They have a great little restaurant where breakfast and dinner were served. The weather was cold and rainy during our visit, but I would definitely come back in season to take advantage of the pool, outside seating, and views!"

"My mother and I stayed 3 nights at La Foresteria and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! This was truly a 5-star stay! The staff was exceptional - welcoming and hospitable from the moment we arrived. We stayed in 2 different rooms while we were there — both were spacious, clean and fully stocked with necessities. The hairdryer was also of good quality. They provided us with complimentary fresh fruit and water, with the water being restocked daily. There was also complimentary water easily accessible and available across the property. They also provided us with straw hats and a bag to use at the beach which was very useful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent — a true farm-to-table experience. Their ricotta cheese is by far the best ricotta cheese I’ve ever had in my life. We did the cooking class which was a wonderful experience and actually ended up being one of our favorite meals while in Italy. We enjoyed the pool and the beach club during our stay. I would highly recommend a car while staying here as I’m not sure how you would get around without one. There are several towns and sites within driving distance (Menfi, Sciacca, and the temples in Selinunte). I highly recommend this hotel and fully agree with their recognition from the Michelin Guide!"

"Looking for somewhere to stay during our cycling trip we stumbled across this hotel in the quiet town of Menfi. It is fairly new, so the standard of the room was very good - clean, modern and air-conditioned. The owner Carmela and her husband were very welcoming and made sure our stay was a comfortable one, we were able to park our bicycles in a secure place and charge our batteries. One big plus to this hotel is the restaurant forming part of the complex, with excellent food to boot."

"I went to Le Dune this summer for the second year in a row. In both occasions I was with my husband, our two young children, and family friends with young children. It is great for families with young children and for adults of all ages. # Rooms are cleaned very well on a daily basis. # The buffet (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is of nice quality and variety, especially at dinner. # The resort offers a good mix of relaxation and entertainment, with swimming pool, restaurant, gardens and common areas all by the beach. Perfect size and layout for kids who are ready to make friends and play freely among themselves or with the miniclub. # The place is quite isolated, but at reception they will buy whatever you need and provide it within 24h. #Great chance to do one-day trips arranged by the resort and visit places of stunning beauty such as Selinunte or Segesta. #Entertainment is there at the right times of day, with live music and interactive games in the evenings. The singer/ entertainer sings beautifully and keeps people of all ages engaged, without being intrusive or pushy. We look forward to going back!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during August 2025 while visiting friends in Menfi and it was absolutely lovely! Can't fault a thing, the staff are amazing, friendly and so kind, want to serve you and take care of you. The owners where lovely people and we felt looked after, they were a delight to chat to and I admired all the art work! The pool area is amazing, so relaxing and plenty of seats and sunbeds. I actually enjoyed the pool area of this lovely hotel more than the beach! We were lucky that the Hotel had an extra room as we had friends from Palermo that visited for the day and they hung out with us at the pool, they liked it so much they stayed for a night. The breakfast was really good and they even had eggs, something any UK person can appreciate as sweet breakfasts are not really our thing. However, they do have freshly baked pastries every morning... absolutely delicious and the apple cake... OMG it was so good and baked on site by one of the lovely ladies. Our hotel room and balcony was wonderful, loads of space for 2 adults and child sharing. Everything was clean and well looked after, I honestly cannot fault anything, we had an absolutely wonderful stay and even ate lunch there twice, it was DELICIOUS! I will definitely stay here again and cannot recommend this little gem of a hotel enough!"

"A small hotel (only eight rooms) that I highly recommend to anyone seeking tranquility and comfort. The property is modern and meticulously maintained, making guests feel truly welcomed. The pool is clean, tidy, and perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The loungers are comfortable. My only complaint would be larger umbrellas that would provide more shade. Breakfast is good. There isn't a huge selection, but it's certainly prepared with care. You can also choose from a selection of à la carte dishes. The property is close to the sea, where there's a beach club owned by the same owner. A special mention goes to the staff, who are almost entirely female. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. A place we'll gladly return to. Highly recommended!"

"I have been regular customer of Il Vigneto for many years. The place remains enchanting being surrounded by a beautiful vineyard in a splendid scenery. To the contrary, the resort in itself is in need of some refurbishment whilst some services need to get better to make guests experience better and better; as an example, the swimming pool, which is fantastic, is kind of left abandoned, whilst a service with drinks and food would male it a place where to spend more time. Last, since Il Vigneto hosts wedding parties, I think guests should be duly informed in advance given the noise these parties can generate."

"Stayed for a night. Location cute. Service to be improved and rather untrained team. Breakfast very very limited choices. The estate is home to many birds, which is lovely however the owners of the estate did not close the roof of the house properly from outside hence between the walls etc. birds are nesting which equals like living in a birdcage - especially in the evenings and mornings sleeping was impossible. Pool needs some fixing."

"I’m usually short on praise when it comes to my travel experiences, but our stay with Giuseppa was so unique and memorable that it is my pleasure to share a review. First, Giuseppa is one of those rare hoteliers that truly wants you to have an outstanding experience. In my initial conversations via email after booking, I described how I was visiting Menfi as my great-grandfather emigrated from the town. Before I arrived at the hotel, she made attempts to do a little research of his name and ask some people in town if the name was familiar. I also provided the name of the street that my relative noted on a ship manifest, and upon arrival, Giuseppa outlined on a map the area we needed to visit. Then she took us in her car and drove us to the street. On the day of departure, we had time before our transfer, and rather than have us wait in the courtyard, she took us for a walking tour of some of Menfi’s highlights. Because the archives in Menfi were closed for renovations, she could not research but provided me with contact information for someone who could help when the records did become accessible. Giuseppa is a gem. Second, Giuseppa’s husband and two children are architects, and once you see your room, you will be amazed at the thought and skill that went into creating this marvelous b & b. It is both charming and striking. Even if your plans don’t include Menfi, it is worth an overnight stay just to meet Giuseppa and stay in her wonderful place."
