"Run down and needing a big refreshment. The photos I saw on the site must have been of the newer ones, as the one I had felt like it had been here for 30 years and was needing major upgrading. Ok the positives, great friendly staff, great facilities on site. But the cabin I was in, 1990 here I come ! old worn tired , holes in curtains, the bathroom didn't have a nice smell, (it actually smelt like a public urnial, I had to keep the door shut at all times...not good at all, the rooms don't have washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, and its over 200 bucks a night ??? It feels like an old caravan , for the price I expected better. Unless you get a new ones I would ask to make sure you cabin is NEW."

Crown Apartments

"The apartments are spacious and located walking distance to clubs,shops, cafes and restaurants. The balconies are petitioned by plants. There is construction all around but no construction whilst we were there on the weekend. We found the area quiet but could hear our neighbours during the night."

Cetacea Luxury Apartments

"Facilities: Everything you need, including self-catering. Environment: Great location, beautiful lake view, convenient parking on the private road. Service: Self-service, considering it's a small town. Cleanliness: Acceptable."

"Great location close to centre of town. Very clean and well presented. Middle of the range fare in building beginning to show its age. Shower in ensuite needs attention as flow is very poor. Major issue with me if shower is second rate morning/evening. Double and three piece lounge in living area way past it’s used by date and needs urgent attention. Not comfortable to relax on at end of day."

Waterview Luxury Apartments

"Sadly we were disappointed with our stay at Waterview Luxury Apartments, the apartment itself was a good size and clean, perhaps a little worn and shabby in the bathrooms, but fine. The location of our apartment was the real disappointment, we expected a water view of Merimbula, instead we were at the back of the property above the reception office. We got a partial waterview and a great view of the busy road running across the front of the property plus the airport runway. The road had almost constant traffic so sitting on the very small balcony was not an option. Overall our stay was a let down and I also feel it is only fair to let others know about the almost constant road noise. Note: request not to stay in apartment 9."
