"My experience at Noax Hotel in Mersin was very poor due to a serious incident that does not meet the standards of a five-star hotel. On April 24, I left the hotel at 6:00 PM for dinner and returned at 9:30 PM. Upon entering my room, I was shocked to find one person inside the room and another person in the bathroom. When I asked why they were there, they informed me that they were new guests who had just been assigned the room, despite clearly noticing that there were bags and clothes inside, indicating that the room was already occupied. According to their account, they had contacted the front desk to report that the room was not vacant. Nevertheless, the reception sent a bellboy to the room, who proceeded to collect all my personal belongings, including my clothes and luggage, and moved them to the hotel lobby without my knowledge or consent. I immediately went to the reception desk to inquire about why my belongings had been removed and why other guests had been assigned my room. The staff apologized and claimed it was a “mistake.” The duty manager also came and offered a verbal apology. However, what happened goes far beyond a simple administrative error. It constitutes a serious breach of privacy and a significant failure in professional conduct, especially considering that my belongings were handled in a careless and disrespectful manner, and that sensitive personal items, including my personal computer and documents, were in the room. This incident negatively affected my mood and caused discomfort throughout my entire stay. Despite my request for a formal written apology explaining the incident, none was provided, with the justification that it was merely a mistake and that my belongings had not been stolen. Based on the above, my evaluation of this stay is very poor. What occurred represents a serious professional failure that does not align with the standards expected from a hotel of this category."
