"Warm and good service staff. We mistook the restaurant for the reception, and the bar staff was very patient and said that this often happens, and then took us to complete the check-in. Breakfast was great! There are also microwaves, tableware and free tea bags that can be used in the lounge. The steak in the restaurant is delicious!"

"The resort was comfortable and clean , I did miss the hot pools that used to be there . The staff were very good ,and the food delicious. I was a bit annoyed when trying to sit in the lounge restaurant area , at all the children running around , screaming without parental guidance . It was not a relaxing ambience as there were so many kids running and screaming I could not talk to my freind . I was extremely surprised to find a child in resort uniform behind the bar . I’m from Australia, and this would be illegal , so I did feel I was in a big nursery with adults having drinks . Good for families , but a a couple of people just wanting a drink and dinner . No One two year hit his hand , banged in a big chest lid he was digging around in . The high screams and wails were scary , and I’m not sure why the parents left them . Otherwise my stay was great ."

"Comfortable, clean accommodation, friendly and helpful staff and a great lounge facility. Easy walking distance to the township and Opuke Spa Pools (a MUST to visit). Methven is a cute and quirky town with fantastic views of the mountains, great eateries and a safe, fun vibe. A trip to the mountains to ski or snowboard is very easy to organise for a reasonable price."
