HOTEL ROUTE-INN RIFU
"It is best to put a small trash can in the bathroom for easy disposal. Thank you!"
Hotel Matsushima Taikanso
"Perfect view over the beautiful bay. The staff service was always nice and accommodating. The food is served buffet-style – a great selection, but no variety even after the third day."
Matsushima Onsen Hotel Zekkei No Yakata
"The staff were friendly and tried their best to speak English. However, I would still recommend having some basic Japanese knowledge. The highlight of the room is the balcony, which not only offers a perfect view of the bay but also features a bathtub filled with hot spring water. The room only has futons, so sleeping on your side is uncomfortable. The toilet is in a separate room, which I found too small. Some of the doors inside and outside the room are quite small, so tall people have to duck."
Breezbay Seaside Resort Matsushima
"A bit far from the station but ok for round trip, seems have shuttle bus picking from station nearby. Some room(?!) with no bathing area , need go public bath , not super convenient spot."
Matsushima Ichinobo
"This onsen hotel charges 80,000 yen per night, offering excellent facilities but minimal service. The dinner is a course-grade meal served in an all-you-can-eat style. While some may appreciate this setup, it’s not my preference. However, as a drinker, you’ll find a wide variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from."
Matsushima Century Hotel
"A nice hotel with a lot of extra services to enjoy during the end of the day. Very nice"
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Hotel Sokan
"It was amazing"
Komatsu-Kan Kofu-Tei
"The ryokan location is excellent. My room has a huge picture window facing east. I can see the famous bay with its many islands, including the Fukuura island (福浦𡷊), in the morning with wonderful sun rise view. The Japanese breakfasts were excellent especially the one on our second day… fresh grilled fish, etc.. The Kaiseki dinners for both nights were wonderful with fresh grilled fish and high grade wagyu beef plus oyster cooked to perfection. The Onsens on the other hand are just Okay. However with the view of Fukuura island and its red bridge … nice."
Matsushima Sakan Shoan
"Matsutake takes about 40 minutes from Sendai Station to Songdo Coast Station by Senshi Line. There is a taxi at this station. It takes about 15 minutes to get to 2250 yen by taxi. The hotel does not have a free pick-up and drop-off station service. After arriving, you can enjoy warm and thoughtful service. The name is posted on the slippers so that the hot springs will not be worn wrong, and the menu will also be marked with a name at night, and the details will be full. The room view has nothing to say, the room faces Songdao Bay, the scenery is beautiful, but unfortunately I have been raining for the past two days, and then I will come back. The scenery of Songdao is three scenes in Japan. I personally think that it is more than the overpass. The other Miyajima has not been there. The whole of Matsutake is carefully built, and there is no one is not exquisite. The room is large and the facilities are high-end. The bathroom in the room has a teak barrel for hot springs. The bathrobe and bath cover are very elegant and beautiful. The staff is very patient. Every sentence that the process should be introduced is translated to me with a mobile phone. It is not simplified because it is a foreign tourist. The main reception I received was a warm girl, she was really attentive, afternoon bar playing Yo-Yo Ma music, there was free tea coffee alcohol drinks provided. Japanese-style room beds early in the evening, every service is first-class, a little regret is that the dinner rhythm is a little slow, breakfast can choose Western and Japanese, I chose Japanese is very rich and nutritious. The air volume of Dajin air conditioner was adjusted to the minimum and it was still a bit loud. Later, it was turned off. I slept in many tatami mattresses and they were not very comfortable. The quality of the bedding in this house was very good. I had a good night's sleep. The hot springs are rarely very clean. In the afternoon, the outdoor pool is also equipped with fresh roses to add to the hot springs. It is commendable that this check-out is 12 o'clock. The quality is reflected everywhere in the hotel with excellent views. In short, this is a wonderful stay. experience."
