"Everything about the room is very good, except that the front desk phone never gets through and all the calls are recorded. I called all day and no one got through. I couldn't find a place to call them. I arrived at 5 o'clock. I asked them to print out two documents and asked them to get off work. I was given a fight and asked to come at 9 a.m. the next morning. But when 9 o'clock came, I still wasn't given a fight."

"The rooms were freshly painted and clean. They are very close to the sea and you can go to the beach within a 5-minute walk. You can go to the train station by taxi for 3 Tunisian dinars. The breakfast is adequate, but not a very big one. The price is reasonable for coffee, tea, eggs, margarine, croissants and bread, tomatoes and cheese. The pillows were a bit bad and the receptionist took care of them and changed them. The place is nice and you can stay for a few nights."

"Second time visiting this hotel, and once again we had a wonderful stay. The location is ideal, just five minutes from the airport. Our sea‑view rooms were spacious and beautifully presented. A special mention to our waiter, Mohamed Rezgui — truly exceptional, he looked after us every single day. The animation team was fantastic as well, with a shout‑out to Tiga, whose talent and energy made every activity enjoyable."

"Flight was spot on. Hotel was poor. This is more like a 2.5 to 3 star hotel, not a 4 star! Animation team and waiting staff were fantastic, couldn't have asked for better. The kids enjoyed the water slides. Unfortunately that is when the good stopped. Food was ok, but one night they had a fish/seafood night outside with nothing else to eat. OK for me but people that can't eat or don't like seafood there wasn't any alternative other than chips or salad. Other holiday makers we seen getting pizzas delivered due to this. It's the first time ever I've stopped in a hotel with no plug sockets to charge phones/iPads etc, I had to but a 4 gang extension lead and unplug the TV in order to charge anything. Aircon in the room is non existent, as we were there in the middle of a heat wave we were literally sweating in our rooms on a night with the aircon being so poor. Drinks were ok, but a very very small selection to choose from and NO bottles of water to drink like you normally find in a 4 or 5 star. Twice I had to go to reception and ask for toilet paper and towels. The maids would take the towels in the morning and they would not be any clean ones until mid afternoon. No good if you needed a shower early to go out somewhere. There was 3x of us in the room but only ever 2 towels put in, even after I asked for an extra one they took 3x away and only returned 2x. It seemed like the hotel does not have enough towels to change on rotation, so they get washed and returned the same day. Pool towels are only available between 9am and 10am I think it was, as we got there after 10am we would have not been able to use the pool in 49c heat so ended up walking to the nearest shop (about 10 mins away) and buying some. There is a shop on site but it is expensive. Overall for the price we paid it was tolerable, but we wouldn't go back!"

"The high notes.... Bar Staff were Amazing, Sweet, Attentive and always had a smile AND always remembered our drinks!! The fella in the dining room always made sure we had bottled water, Wine and Coca-Cola on the table ( Im going through menopause ) So he made sure we was always sat by Air-con. That was so helpful, Who in the world can enjoy a meal when having a hot flush? And it wasnt just down to the heat xx THE ROOM; Well, I will start with positives, It was nice. The veiws were not of the pool or beach, BUT They were of the culture and day to day living of the people that actually live here, I would rather see that all day long , I loved it!! The paint on the balcony was peeling in chunks, One side was not secure ( One push and a body could fall ). No Fridge! No bottled water! ( I have been to Turkey, Egypt, and Tunisia on a few trips) They all have fridges and bottled water left in your room. The cleaners were always on top of it... One lady even took a 2 and a half inch long cockroach off of our balcony... So much respect for her.. we just put a glass over it !! xx The promoters do their jobs... PROMOTE!, But when you tell them politly and firmly you are not interested they will move on ( They will try again, but they do this because they get paid by comission, Just be nice to them with a firm but friendly NO ). We went on the Quads, Arranged by ZiZou ( Caravne/Quad Bateau ) HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!!!!! Im not a fan of the public toilets, They were usually full of water on the floor ( DO NOT WEAR YOUR BEST SHOES/TRAINERS OR FLIP-FLOPS ). If you want a pool, a sun-bed and quiet time, Go to the Aqua pool Its LUsh!!! xx"

A special thank you to lifeguard Ayoub, whose professionalism and vigilance truly stood out. During our stay, I witnessed several situations where children got into difficulty in the pool, and Ayoub reacted instantly every single time. He jumped in without hesitation and brought them to safety before most people even realized what was happening. He was constantly attentive, always keeping a close eye on the pool area and making sure everyone was safe. His quick reactions, dedication, and calm professionalism deserve the highest praise. "First time staying at this Hotel…. First and important point is the Hotel Reception and main restaurant needs air conditioning. The whole building is out dated and needs some TLC. Cons would be…the rooms especially the bathrooms, sun loungers need better padding, only large bottles of water given which get warm easily, beach towels not provided, only 1 barman serving drinks in the main restaurant and main bar at all times. Pros would be…food choice is good everyday. Entertainment team are by far the best thing this Hotel has to offer. Lots of activities, energy and variety of evening shows, a special mention and thank you to Alex, Snow and Cesar. These guys need more recognition for what they do for their guests."

"We had an amazing stay at Dar Benti. I cannot praise the hotel and staff enough. The hotel was immaculate and so tastefully decorated, you can see it is the owners pride and joy. Aziz and the team were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and lots of it. With lots of home made goodies. "This is a case of you pay for what you get, but for the same price, we stayed in much nicer hotels and guest houses in Tunisia throughout our trip. The positives; the hotel is affordable and in a decent location, within walking distance of the beach, the pool is also great and the food was good. The downsides; The hotel is very outdated and aged, the bedding cushions, bed spreads, napkins and table cloths were all stained and worn (the cotton bed sheets were fine however). Some of our bathroom towels were not washed and cleaned at all, our hand towel still had the previous guests make up wiped on it. The aircon in our room didn't work, so we had to sleep with the balcony sliding doors open, which made for a nosey nights sleep. The reception staff and some of the other staff were professional and friendly, but in the main, the waiters and kitchen staff treated you like they were doing you a favour, some didn't even bother to help when asked - like for a menu or a drink for example. Some of the attitudes I saw towards other guests, was very poor. When we paid for our dinner, our 35 Tunisian Denar meal, suddenly became 45, clearly the rest was going to be pocketed so we refused to pay the extra fee that came out of no where. To be brutally honest, that was the worst customer service we had experienced in a hotel to date. Overall the guests at the hotel we fine but there were some very drunk guests, literally falling over and stumbling everywhere, with one girl was so drunk, she didn't even realize her boob was hanging out of her bikini. We were so happy to get out of there when we checked out.. The worst hotel we had stayed in in Tunisia."

"The hotel lobby is beautiful, got an upgrade when we got there which I’m glad we did, we got 2 balconies and beautiful view out to sea and the pool. The room itself was very dated, shower slid down the pole so couldn’t use. Aircon leaked and made the floor slippy, a very damp smell in hallways. However the food was lovely, plenty to choose from, kids always found something. Nice little snack bar in between meals serving pizza and crepes and hotdogs, although ice cream for the kids would have been nice. The all inclusive bar was very basic but ok. It would have been nice for info on kids clubs and activities on offer. Pool areas was nice, although few broken sun beds, so if you wasn’t down very early you struggled to get some. The lifeguards was constantly whistle blowing so you didn’t know if u was doing wrong or if there was a problem. Lifeguard manager needs lessons on how to speak to children as he was very horrible to my daughter. Entertainment team was fantastic!!! Really made my children have a lovely time encouraged them to join in when they was shy, the female entertainment staff was particularly great always dancing with the children and making them feel special.. could not fault them they deffo earned there wage. Hmm the beach… don’t go in the sea sanitary products was floating by as you was swimming and sea full of rubbish it was gross, full of locals. For the money though it was good value just needs a few tweaks I think."

"Lovely hotel, lovely food and brilliant pool staff, throughout the whole week it was a brilliant week away. The reason for it not being a 5 star is the reception staff wasn’t really helpful, we asked for batteries for the tv remote which took two days to come after several attempts of asking and we asked over four time for bottle of water for the room which we are still waiting for they took our room number down etc but never received any which is a real shame really as we had a brilliant time staying there. The pool staff though were brilliant and a great week away."
