"A unique, special place run and owned by kind-hearted Alessandra and Mauro. You feel more like a house guest at their Villa than a regular hotel guest. The Villa is surrounded by trees in a lush garden a two-minute stroll from the arched, main entrance to Montefalco: We had beautiful room # 7 , furnished eclectically, with a stunning view of the plain towards Assisi. Our children equally enthusiastic over their rooms, #5 and #6. Their pool is a godsend during the baking summer months, and their light, pool--side lunches of melon, mozzarella etc are to die for. Don't hesitate, go!"

"Montefalco is a lovely unspoilt Umbrian town. It isn't crawling with tourists as many of the other nearby towns are (e.g. Assisi), and it's fairly practical to stay in (parking only a short walk down the hill, and you can pull right up to the hotel when coming & going), yet it's a typical gorgeous hilltop village. This little boutique hotel is right on the main square, allowing you to soak in the local atmosphere and eat at one of the lovely restaurants only steps away. We had a Junior Suite with a gorgeous view of the surrounding valley, adjoining to a Deluxe room with a view of the piazza. Rooms were very comfortable, with aircon and a lift. There was a basic breakfast buffet which could be eaten either indoors or outdoors. Overall a perfect place to stay, with surprisingly good value-for-money, and we would come back!"

"It is as most of the reviewers state, a lovely, peaceful hotel which is perfectly located among wines and countryside for daily touring. The staff are friendly and helpful (Luca is terrific) and the room is spacious, comfortable and quiet. The pool is beautiful and gardens attractive and fragrant. Our only small suggestion would be to provide in the room glasses for water and cups for hot drinks rather than plastic and paper! We will stay again, really enjoyed it"
