Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse Egilsstaðir
"Had a really good stay here. The place has a lot of rooms as well as a big property to walk around and it's only about a 9-minute drive from downtown. If you want to go to the Vök bath. It's only about 15 minutes in total. If you have an option to choose a dinner, the lentil soup was amazing."
Hotel Hallormsstadur
"The hotel environment is good, and the rooms and bathrooms are a bit larger than average for Iceland. The breakfast selection is also quite extensive. Overall, I had a pleasant experience."
Fjalladýrð Guesthouse
"This was my favorite place we stayed in Iceland, which is saying a lot considering the other wonderful properties we visited. This is like a tiny village set far back in the country. As we drove in, a herd of long horned goats were trotting down the road, and Tova the Fjalladyrd reindeer came to greet us when we pulled in. The lovely sod buildings and church added to the charm. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. They offer several traditional Icelandic recipes on the menu, such as Moss Soup, farm raised lamb, reindeer, and cod. I don't know that I would want to eat Moss Soup everyday, but it was a great experience to try it. Breakfast was very good the next morning. Our family group of five stayed in the large cabin. We were very comfortable. The only thing that would have made our stay even better is if there was a bathroom on the 2nd floor where most of the bedrooms were located. But we so enjoyed our stay that we considered that a mild inconvenience to walk downstairs for the restroom. Absolutely lovely setting, friendly service, lovely historic buildings all made this a wonderful, memorable stay!"
Guesthouse Svartiskógur Egilsstaðir
"Take a bath faster, because it is a limited amount of hot water, but the overall is great, the waiter is very kind. Very close to the attraction!"
Hotel Framtid
"I really, really liked the hotel and the staff. It's perfect for 1-2 nights. The room has everything you need and a great view. I recommend grabbing a hot dog near the hotel."
Álfheimar Hotel
"Location not convenient for non-driver. Much transport service is needed."
Lyngás Guesthouse
"We were the only guests but the whole apartment was very clean. They had a good equipt kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would travel there again :) Cool guesthouse in Iceland."
Hérað - Berjaya Iceland Hotels
"A small hotel, even some hair was found on the bed"
Hotel Edda Egilsstadir
"We stayed here in transit for our trip around the ring road. The room was clean and had accommodations for the four of us. The breakfast was a plus and helped us get on with our trip the next day. They have blackout curtains so sleeping wad not an issue. Only detail is we were booked on a half floor were the elevator did not fo directly so we had to go up one floor and then run up some stairs to get to our room."

Hotel Studlagil
"The only hotel in this area. Easy access to tourist attractions, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Complete basic equipment Dinner is available, can be ordered. Friendly staff The service is very good."
Framtid Camping Lodging Barrels
"The service staff in the hotel are very friendly and the prices in the restaurant are very reasonable. The room in the camping area has a comfortable temperature and the bed is very comfortable, but the space is a bit insufficient and not suitable for luggage. The bathroom and toilet are outside but it's warm and not cold at all."
Hotel 1001 Nott
"The hotel environment is good, the room is clean, but the kettle needs to be borrowed from the front desk"
Gistihúsið - Lake Hotel Egilsstadir
"Surrounding environment, good breakfast, room hardware facilities need to be improved"
Lónsleira Apartments
"Lovely house in Seydisfjordur and it offers all you need kitchenware. We had a pleasant stay."
Lindarbrekka
"We stayed here for one night and were given one out of the two bigger cabins. When we arrived, we were shocked that the door had been left open the whole day, leading to there being more than 100 flies everywhere. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were all infested with flies and we simply could not get rid of them. The rooms were also not in the best condition, and were not very clean. I’m not sure if anyone else had this experience here, but the price was too high for this quality."
Framtid Apartments and Holiday Homes
"The most satisfying hotel of my Iceland trip. It had a very Nordic feel, was located right by the lake in the town, had convenient parking, and offered opportunities to see the Northern Lights from the mountains behind the hotel at night with no light pollution."
Krákhamar Apartments
"Everything about this place was perfect. The friendly owner, the clean and spacious rooms, and even the beautiful aurora. My stay here was fantastic and unforgettable."
Árbakki
"It was fantastic. Thank you very much."
Lindarhóll Guesthouse
"We arrived at Lindarholl guest house after a long bumpy drive on a rutted gravel road. I was disappointed not to have anyone there to greet us but instead had an Airbnb type arrival. ( key in a lock box.) The room was adequate and very quiet. We got a good night's sleep which we sorely needed. We were out very early so we didn't partake of the continental breakfast."
Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages
"Although the location is not close to town, it’s alright if you are driving. They provide all kinds of facilities you want such as BBQ and of course include dining area with kitchen appliances. Also, the detached house will give you feel more privacy."
Lagarfell Studios
Bankinn - Hotel by Aldan
"Behind the blue church, there are cool loft beds, but the room is on the third floor and there is no elevator. The room space is OK, there is no wardrobe for hanging clothes, only a few hangers, and the mirror in the toilet is not very friendly to the short Asians (like me) Because it is off-season, the whole town is super quiet and there are not many choices for eating. In addition, the owner of this hotel has several buildings in this town, don't go wrong"
Framtid Hostel
"The hostel is very centrally located, not far from the hotel, directly opposite the pool of the place. The rooms are simple and perfectly fine. Only a few rooms share a common room, so here is enough opportunity to cook for yourself. However, we did without and went to one of the restaurants that are available in Djupivogur. The hotel staff was very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but worth the price - there were a lot of different dishes and local specialties. Highly recommended."
Dúlluhús - Apartments by Aldan
"Just next to the church, the kitchen is quite big, close to the city, you can go to many attractions within five minutes by car, but unfortunately the nearby shops will be lighted at night, it is difficult to see the aurora ~"
