I want to say that although you can communicate in English, but if you can't speak it, are you really respecting the Chinese guests by talking like a duck throughout the process? The historical significance of this venue must be highlighted to illustrate its uniqueness in Nara - We signed up for the complimentary tour of the hotel offered to hotel guests on certain mornings of the week and had the pleasure of having Ms. Sato, the director of marketing, introduce the story of Shisui and its past-life as the residence of the governor of Nara between 1922 to 2017, then as Shisui hotel with guest-rooms designed by renown architect Kengo Kuma. The emperor of Japan had stayed on property in post-war to sign the San Francisco treaty. Sato-san's thorough introduction in fluent-english had me realise a stay at this hotel is a unique experience in the way that it is beyond just luxury. The staff had been wonderful and eager to please without pushiness. It was much appreciated, as it gave room for my wife and I to enjoy each other's company at this perfectly peaceful property. The staff had been amazing from the beginning, at check-in, we had Rika-san, a lady with eyes that can smile, to help us check-in while we rest our feet at the lounge with tea, then guide us to our room while briefing us on all its amenities. The rooms were modern with accents of traditional Japanese designs to remind me of the locations' history. Details like the washroom walls that look like zen-gardens and overall wooden decor made my stay at the room one of the most relaxing experiences ever at any hotel. The French-Japanese wine-paired dinner at Suiyou was also our culinary highlight of our two-week vacation in Japan. In summary, after the two night stay, my wife had requested that we should come back to Shisui in the spring, summer and fall to experience all the seasons at this venue.

JW Marriott's site selection in Nara was such a failure that I was shocked. It is far away from all the attractions and stations in Nara. The rooms have no views, not even green plants. It is just a roadside business hotel on the outskirts of the city without any Nara characteristics. Two-thirds of the rooms are in The road side is very noisy. I moved to the inner side to make it quieter. It takes ten minutes to get to Nara Kintetsu Station. The bus takes 30 minutes. It is not convenient to travel. I rely on rentals. There is no one at the door of the hotel. I have to wait for more than ten minutes to call. The service is warm but there will be mistakes in getting breakfast. The concierge took things and made arrangements for the restaurant. The concierge also looked like he was unfamiliar with the business and said the line was busy. He made an announcement and did not reply. The room was a five-star level and the breakfast was OK. There was no hot spring. In addition to the dining bar, there was only one Western restaurant at the door. There was no set meal price. There seem to be a lot of foreign employees in Taihang. Generally speaking, I don’t recommend staying at Fufu. It’s just in the park. It costs more than 3,000 yuan per person, including breakfast and dinner. There are also hot springs where you can soak in the Marriott. It costs more than 2,000 yuan. The location is boring. The only bright spot is that there is a Tsutaya store next to it.

However, hot drinks are served in the lobby, which also offers a foot massager, the New York Times and the English version of the Japanese daily. Breakfast is served in a comfortable small basement with reasonable choice of Japanese and Western food. Front desk staff is very helpful. If the room is for three people, the luggage for three people will be very crowded, but we only have two people to stay overnight, and only two people have luggage.

My favorite hotel during the whole trip to Kansai🏨 First of all, the location is invincible and convenient, just outside Nara Station! There is even a dedicated elevator to their home! I have never stayed in such a convenient location. I was worried that it would be noisy at night, but it turned out to be super quiet (I didn’t sleep well in Osaka and Kyoto, so pitiful) Secondly, the service attitude is super good! And the service staff speaks English better than anyone I have met in Osaka! The communication was complete💯The attitude was also super good, very patient, highly recommended! There is also a hot spring at this price♨️Who knows! Yukata and toiletry bags are provided. The room size is enough for one person anyway. I especially like the feeling that there is a TV at the end of the bed and a window next to the bed! Extremely comfortable. There is a password lock when entering the door, which is very convenient without a room card. Just post the magnet ”check out” outside the door when you check out. It's so smart. I will stay here again next time I come to Nara.

I stayed at the ３ generation including my grandson. It was an inn near my home, and if there was no Nara Prefectural citizenship, there was no chance to stay. The parking lot is narrow, so it is a style to park at the entrance and leave the key. After the reception at the front desk, you will be guided to the room and you can provide tea in the room, which is an old-fashioned customer service. Although the entire building is undeniably aging, there was a sense of security because it was well maintained, cleaned, and corona measures. The room was a large room with the next room, but the five-storied pagoda of Kofukuji was a room in the direction where I couldn't see it. The bath has a large communal bath and an open-air bath on the same floor, but it was a pity that I had to change clothes and enter again. I used it properly as a large communal bath before dinner and an open-air bath before going to bed. It was an artificial hot spring, so it was quite a spring quality. Dinner was served in a private room with consideration for my grandchildren, but it was simple but delicately seasoned and was top class in Nara inn. Breakfast was also very delicious. The landlady was well supervised by the employees from check-in to check-out, and everyone's manners were wonderful. At dinner, we were waiting at the entrance, and at breakfast, we were 々 for employees with great consideration to guide us ahead of the elevator. There is no accommodation, and dinner is possible, and it is a revisit.

３ I stayed on a personal trip during consecutive holidays. I think the advance payment at check-in and the efforts to SDG ｓ are clear. I made a reservation for a single, but thanks to the preparation of a single youth in a twin room, it was comfortable to arrange luggage in a large room 々. The pillows were comfortable and I used the nightwear provided. There was a coin laundry on the ５ floor where I stayed, a vending machine was ２, and a microwave oven. The card key in the room that I prepared first was in poor contact, but the front desk immediately dealt with it and prepared a different room. ＪＲ It was safe but quiet at night, close to Kintetsu Nara Station and Naramachi, just off Nara Station. It was good that the windows in the room were opened. It was another price, but the western breakfast I had at the dining room opened from ６ was delicious with bread. The Japanese breakfast full of Nara's specialties seemed delicious, and both were reasonable prices. I asked the front desk about color 々, but it was helpful to answer politely. Also, I would like to use it when I come to Nara.

This is a Rayocan, or a bed-- and- breakfast. It's a room in a private house in a residential area. It's great if you want an idea of how Japanese live. You are provided with slippers when you arrive and you leave outdoor shoes in the front door. DON'T bring your slippers in the bedroom! The bedroom is traditional, with floor carpet and bed linen provided. Your bag should be left outside the actual sleeping area. To be honest, the space is narrow and you need to move carefully to avoid damage the door to slip. The host was good enough to brew and serve us traditional green tea (a taste can be found if the truth is told!). In the morning, we were provided a choice between a traditional breakfast or a Japanese sea. We chose one of them to be able to compare and experience. Because the house is located in a residential area, we had to walk a bit (10 - 15 minutes) to find dinner. I was not sure if we found where the host was leading us, but we found what I can only describe as a ”restaurant” where we had something to eat. In the morning, the round bus passed quite close and this was a bit awkward. will take you to the station. The house allowed two rooms, we were lucky because we were the only guests so there was the best room. In addition, you share the bathroom, toilet and sink. That might not be anyone's favorite. You can also wash and dry clothes, which is always convenient if you are traveling - although there is an additional cost for this. This place is worth staying if you are traveling to Japan and want a real taste of the country.

I stayed to take a picture of the scenery of Nara in the morning because I was worried about the atmosphere that the appearance produced before. Two young men who were friendly were at the front and bar space, and it was a very pleasant response. There is no chance, but it is an inn that I wanted to go to stay again. I think I'll go to eat only.

Stayed during the shosoin exhibition. I found that I was looking for a private room (because the guest house is impossible) because I only use it to sleep almost on a solo trip. It was a room of 4 tatami mats and half, but there was no problem using it alone, and the joint toilet and toilet were cleaned cleanly.
