"We originally chose the Capitolo Riviera because we throught Portofinio and Santa Margherita Ligure would be limiting. The Capitolo, a block from the train station, offers easy access to Genoa, Santa Margherita Ligure, and Cinque Terre. We found a hotel that was lovely and exceeded our expectations. Genoa-Nervi, a former fishing village, is a suburb that offers a range of restaurants and stores with a boardwalk that is accessible to the old harbor. The Capitolo Riviera is a modern in a 1950's contempory style located in a park. The Hotel restaurant, il Botanico, was so good that we dined their twice. The best part was the warm and professional service from all the staff. I would especially highlight CR's two concierges, Simone and Simona, who provided insightful recommendations from restaurants to the best times to visit various sights. They really added to the success of our visit."

"Peaceful, Beautiful, and Absolutely Exceptional Capitolo Riviera was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled in a peaceful, treehouse-like setting, it’s just a quick train ride to the city center—so you get the best of both worlds. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, spotless, and perfect for unwinding. The staff were truly amazing—so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. We were blown away by the hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious, with creative cocktails that made every meal feel special. The spa was clean, calming, and the perfect way to end each day. If you’re looking for a serene escape with easy access to the city, you won’t find a better place. Already dreaming of our return!"
