A breath of fresh air when I walk through the doors that lead to the hotel lobby & on my floor too! Clean room, comfy bed and wonderful view of the airport! Great customer service from all of the staff. During my stay I felt at home and loved the cool vibes in the M Lounge. If you're in the area check it out! Thanks Marriot Staff! My husband travels for work often and the Aloft LaGuardia hotel is absolutely AMAZING for so many reasons. The proximity to LaGuardia with the shuttle to/from airport is awesome, convenient and so helpful. The rooms are always clean, quiet and well appointed for his stays. However, the best part of the Aloft LaGuardia is the STAFF and they should be recognized for how wonderful they all are. When I initially called the hotel to book a reservation, I had the pleasure of speaking with Melissa Pacheco who is the Assistant General Manager of the hotel. Melissa is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with at any hotel. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for customers and should be recognized by Marriott for what she does for customers. Also, my husband stays at Aloft often and the staff at the front desk are equally fantastic (Eddie and Quincy). Eddie Fuentes is the night desk manager and he is awesome too and has helped me very often with making sure my husband's stays there are perfect. This hotel is a GEM at the LaGuardia airport in NYC...however the staff there are truly the BEST part of the hotel and always strive to make customers happy! I hope that when reading this review if you select to stay at Aloft LGA you have the pleasure of meeting Melissa, Eddie and Quincy at the front desk....your experience will be amazing and you will have a terrific stay for certain!

During my business trip to the United States, one of my stops was New York. I stayed in Flushing, Queens. The most convenient location was the Renaissance Hotel. It is relatively close to LaGuardia Airport and a little further from JFK Airport. There are a lot of Chinese dining options outside the door. The hotel reception is on the 12th floor and the restaurant is on the 11th floor. There are several elevators reaching different floors, so you need to pay attention. The room is not big, but it is fully functional and makes your stay more worry-free. One day there was a sudden fire alarm. I asked at the front desk and they said it was a test. This was a bit ridiculous. Overall, it is a relatively convenient and affordable hotel.

Flight was cancelled out of LaGuardia last minute. Booked using points and couldn’t have been more pleased. The staff here, everyone of them, were pleasant, friendly and so accommodating. Rooms were large and clean. Traveling friend dropped earring in sink and maintenance was up quickly to rescue said earring out of the drain within minutes. We had dinner at the small bar/restaurant, and for a hotel meal, we were pleasantly surprised how yummy it was. And the gentleman who served us was so willing to please. Great stay and kudos to the staff for making a frustrating event so much easier!

I stayed originally at this Hilton Garden Inn back in December 2017 (apologies for not leaving a review then!), and we had such a pleasant experience we did decide to come back the next time we visited NYC. The best thing about this Hilton Garden Inn is the close location to both Queens Plaza (literally 20 seconds walk away if you pick the correct subway entrance) and Queensboro Plaza (a little further, but only a few minutes walk) subway stations to get you into Manhattan within 10-15 minutes. This alone makes it so worth the price!! When I go on city breaks, my thing is to find hotels a little further out of the center but close to public transport links and it makes a huge difference in value - this is the absolute perfect fit to this rule for those who don't mind staying out of the center of Manhattan. In addition, I have never felt unsafe in the area that the Hotel is located in too, it's a busy public road very close to the hotel (you can't hear this from the room) so you're never in a quiet area alone if you're walking at night from the Subway. This is not a 5-star hotel so if you're looking for this it may not be your thing, but it is I think one of the best value hotels that can be found in the whole of New York City! When you compare the price of this hotel to other similar hotels in Manhattan, this can be purchased at sometimes more than half the price of other similar (and worse) hotels that in central Manhattan, and does seem to be one of the cheaper ones located outside Manhattan too, but the cheaper price doesn't mean a lack of quality when compared with others! The rooms (from memory) hadn't changed between our two stays in 2017 and 2023 (and do seem older than this) so perhaps could be doing with an update, but they are large rooms and ours had a small sofa located at the end of the room too - beds very comfy. Unfortunately, the air con didn't work our first evening so it was stuffy on the first night, however we didn't bother to raise this as we were so jet lagged from our flight and I'm more than confident the team would've have resolved this for us if we did! Thankfully, it worked the rest of our stay so the room was extremely comfortable after this time. We were located on the 11th floor (I think), and apart from one day where one of the two lifts were broken, we didn't have to spend long waiting for the lifts and got from reception to our room in a few short moments. The reception/lobby/breakfast area seems to have been updated between our stays in 2017-2023, is modern and clean with a large bar area too if required. We didn't have breakfast there or food so can't comment on the food offering. We stayed due to a planned engagement in NYC (she said yes!) and we did tell the Reception Team about this (apologies, we can't remember the woman's name) to see if there was anything they could do as a congratulations, just a simple message in the room for example - she did say leave it with her. We got back later that night,

Very nice hotel in good location. Quick weekend stay. Easy access to train station (walk about 100 feet) or one across the street. Took 12 minutes to get to Times Square. About a 20-minute Uber ride LGA (8pm on a Friday night). Newer hotel. Clean rooms. Not too big of rooms, but you are in NY so you have to understand that. Planet Fitness is across the street. Hudson Food Market is adjacent to the hotel. There is a food market across the street and some bars in the area. Hotel gym was good and spacious. Lots of area to move around and actually work out. Did not mingle much with the staff except for check in and check out. There is a restaurant/lounge on the premises that has seating areas. Would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I shared a room with double beds, the room was very spacious with everything you need (iron, ironing board, blow dryer, full bottles of shampoo - conditioner - body wash, etc.). Close to NYC, just across the bridge, Uber and taxis right outside the door. Front desk staff so helpful, friendly and professional. Very safe.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. I only found out when I drove to the place. It is not very safe here. It is at the junction of Long Island and Brooklyn, and there are black people gathering around it. The breakfast is so-so, but the front desk staff is very nice.

Traveled with a family of 5. Loved our stay. Staff were very welcoming and nice. We needed accommodations and they meet our needs with no problems. Valet parking were courteous. Our rooms were clean organized, and very well structured. We loved the bathroom behind the mirror. Very nice. Kids loved it and enjoyed the stay. They have a small Gym, beautiful breakfast lobby, lower terrace with tables, and upper terrace with a beautiful view. Their breakfast was ok. Do need a little more work on. Offered toast, bagels, cerial, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, tater tots, fruits, coffee, juice and water. Eggs were watery, and tater tots were cold, and not well done. Bagel tosted with cream cheese were great. We rate it a 4 out of 5 since it does need work on their breakfast, but we enjoyed our stay and will visit again. Thank you!

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. We will start with the staff - from check in through our stay, they could not have been more gracious, courteous and customer service oriented. We arrived early on check in day and just wanted to store our bags while we went in to Manhattan. Stevie (the manager) was actually able to check us in and get us room access early. He even invited us to take advantage of the free breakfast that was still going on (that's how early we arrived!) When we had to extend our stay due to flight issues, Asha and Dawn were helpful in securing our room for an extra night. We were even able to get late check out, so we could work remotely during our unexpected extra day. Breakfast: The hotel was sold out for many of the nights we were there, which could have been a disaster for breakfast, but the reality was that the staff went above and beyond to make breakfast enjoyable. Very polite staff restocking and cleaning so there were plenty of choices. There were so many people, but the food was good - real eggs, not powered! Different milk options for the cereal was a nice plus. On Saturday, there was a hot chocolate bar which was great after a night in Manhattan! The room: absolutely perfect. We were 3 adults in a studio which was plenty of room. The pull out sofa was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean, temperature was easy to control. Refrigerator, dishwasher and sink were great. Elevator: We were on the 15th floor, but had no issues with getting an elevator in a timely fashion. Location: Less than half a mile from the closest subway stop, getting in to Manhattan was easy. We could get to Times Square less than 15 minutes after leaving the front door of the hotel. Negative: my only complaint was a lack of a full length mirror in the room, but that is the only problem. If you are looking for a place to stay in NYC that is affordable, I highly recommend this hotel.
