The guy at the front desk and the guy at the parking lot are very good. The location is convenient. It takes eight minutes to walk to the place where Jay Chou took pictures. And the view from the roof is awesome. The restaurant view on the 10th floor is also perfect. summer is coming

The hotel is very close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a walk takes place. The rooms are small but beautifully furnished. Two bottles of Evian mineral water are delivered every day. The first day has fruit bowls. Many people in the lobby elevators wear clothes to highlight New York fashion. It was unfortunate that I met an Oolong front desk man and gave me two pre-authorizations. I had to pay a hundred for the prepayment of the house. He brushed a hundred and then brushed for 590 dollars. I didn't point out that he didn't explain this to me. When I showed the text message of payment, he went to the office and said something to another person. Then the person came out and checked that they didn't collect more money, everything was OK, then I asked. What should I do with this money? The man said that he will be able to return it to me. This is a mistake. This is of course a mistake. The lady who came to check did not apologize and said that there was no problem. I am very dissatisfied with this. I didn’t receive more than five hundred dollars in the morning, but I returned a hundred dollars. It was too much. I checked this matter with them when I checked out. They said that they didn’t collect more money. The pre-authorization will be after I left. I gave it back in a few days. They did not collect the money but brushed up the pre-authorization, and did not release the pre-authorization when I left. It was almost a month before I received the automatic cancellation. The rooms in the hotel are very good and good value for money, but for the work at the front desk, remind the Chinese compatriots to pay attention!

My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Soho Grand many times throughout the last year, for both business and personal trips. One of the best parts of our trip each time is the experience we received at checkin with Barrington- this is going all the back prior to May. We were coming up to New York weekly for work and Barrington made our weekly experience amazing. There were several Sundays I was not looking forward to traveling back to New York again, but once we arrived to his welcome and greeting, it genuinely made our day better. We looked forward to seeing him every week - he was nothing but delightful! Fast forward to today - my boyfriend is in New York alone, I am traveling in a different city for work, and I wanted to send him something special when her arrived back to his room tonight. Of course I called Barrington and he, without hesitation, helped me get some dessert and a note sent to his room. He truly makes us feel like family.

The location of the hotel is very good, next to the Metropolitan Opera House and Central Park is nearby. Next to it is the subway station. It is about 1.8 kilometers walk to Times Square. There is a Starbucks downstairs from the hotel. I booked a deluxe twin room. The decoration of the hotel is very old. If it is renovated, the location will be very good. The walkway is dark... Although very old (especially the carpet), the bedding was very clean. In terms of value for money, this place is pretty good in Manhattan.

Arlo Williamsburg Hotels in New York
Arlo Williamsburg Hotels in New YorkArlo Williamsburg Hotels in New York
Hotel near Williamsburg,New York
2024.09.30
Just like others have mentioned, there’s a serious issue with overcharging at their bar, restaurant, and rooftop, and there’s no way to complain. The staff just pass you around from one department to another. For a small charge of $20-30, you’re left chasing them with no resolution in sight. The hotel may look stylish, and the rooms might be Instagram-worthy, but if Arlo put even a fraction of that effort into staff training and making their charges more transparent and fair, they’d be much better off. Their management is a complete mess—it’s a classic case of ‘all that glitters is not gold.’ I live in New York, and staying at local hotels for a staycation is something I enjoy. I chose Arlo Williamsburg because I like the rooftop in this area. I’ve been to the rooftop bar at Arlo before, and it has a great view and weekend party vibe, but I had no idea it’s not free to enter. I was there previously because my friend booked it, and we just showed up. I also didn’t know that even if you’re a hotel guest, you can’t just head up to the rooftop bar. The pool? Forget it. Unless you’re willing to spend $300-500 on top of the already limited two-person allowance per room. And on top of that, they charge a $34.38 resort fee, which is usually for hotels with pool access, but you don’t get to swim. The real issue started when the check-in guy gave me a card saying I had a $20 credit for restaurant use. But he didn’t tell me it only applied to food, not drinks, and it wasn’t written on the card. I ordered an Old Fashioned at the bar, assuming I could use the credit, because I wasn’t interested in their food. I even asked the bartender, who seemed new and unsure about the guest credits, but she said I could just charge it to my room and it would be deducted, so I went ahead. A week later, I saw a charge of $28+ on my card and called to ask why. They explained the credit is only for food, not drinks, but no one told me that. I tried to explain, but they just passed me to other customer service reps and told me to send emails here and there. I wasted an entire afternoon trying to sort this out, and in the end, I called my bank to cancel the charge. Over a month later, the bank said Arlo provided proof of the charge, so I still had to pay for it. Funny how Arlo suddenly became so responsive when it came to proving this charge, but I was done fighting at this point. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I’ve decided I will never stay at any Arlo property again. As for the rooms, they may look nice, but the quality is lacking. The shower gel bottle was empty, and no one even checked to refill it. The room itself was tiny, barely any space to turn around, and definitely not kid-friendly—you’ll be bumping into everything. 2 points are for the Instagram looks

The Bryant Park Hotel is hands down my favorite place to stay whenever I visit NYC. I’ve stayed here multiple times, and every room I’ve experienced has been fantastic. The unbeatable location is a huge plus, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional front desk staff. Jo, in particular, is an absolute gem! She has a way of making you feel like an old friend from the moment you arrive to departure. Her warmth and attention to detail truly go above and beyond, making each stay feel special. I look forward to my next visit in December!

My son and I had the most incredible experience! I would recommend the William Vale to all my friends and family. The balcony views at sunset in the summer are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself offers many thoughtful amenities including a welcome message with your name on the television upon arrival. I honestly only have one small complaint and that was the cleaning service. We called about having the room cleaned and actually spoke with the individual who said she would come back at the time we requested but she never returned. Other than that one little hiccup everything went smoothly from the time we pulled up to valet to unload our luggage. There is NO better hotel to stay in Williamsburg aside from the William Vale.

GGaryNYHKThe hotel is located in the second last stop in the southwest tip of Brooklyn, so it is far away from downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan. It’s certainly not a neighbourhood hotel, but one for international travellers mostly, given the quality of the international brand Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG). It’s worth staying if one can get a good deal/price. Otherwise, one should simply choose the similar IHG hotel in Manhattan…

KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

MMd HumayunDuring my week-long stay at Hi New York hostel from December 14th to 21st, I found the overall experience to be quite enjoyable. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the ever-present front desk staff who were helpful and efficient, ensuring a smooth start to my stay The proximity of the canteen and cafeteria next to the reception area added to the convenience. The cafeteria offered a delightful selection of freshly baked goods and various beverages, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

Manhattan club Newly renovated, but the toilet and bathroom in the room are too small, only half the size of the Manhattan club Breakfast was generous and dinner was negligible, Opposite diagonally is Carnegie Hall, the subway station is right out, walk 10 minutes to times square 5 minutes to central park 15 minutes by subway to Wall Street, If you can cancel the resort fee. OOlgaRThe location is nice, close to Times Square. The hotel is clean, as other Hilton hotels. Breakfasts are good too, with very pleasant service. But there are some things that left that bitter feeling after my stay that I would like to share. 1. Destination charge. This is the second Hilton hotel in New York I have stayed at, and both charged additional USD35 for so-called destination fee per night. As the receptionist said, it’s MANDATORY. This 35 dollars are charged per day and the guest must use it the same day, they don’t even accumulate. How do you spend it? In the hotel restaurant or bar. What can you buy with it? Three bottles of drinking water, or two cans of beer…. Why am I forced to spend my money on the things that I don’t need and that are so overpriced? You already charged me for the room, and I happily paid for it. 2. The hotel page here shows a picture of “swimming”. It’s a rooftop swimming pool. I was excited to have a chance to spend some time in the pool. The reception said there was none. Please remove the picture from the page, as it is misleading. 3. There is no tea or coffee in the room. That’s the amenity available in every hotel, even the cheap ones. But when we called the service, they said: no, we don’t offer coffee or tea. But they did bring us a kettle:) I can see that it’s not listed in the available amenities here, but I didn’t even expect that. It’s such a little thing that makes your guest’s stay more comfortable. Anyways, it was quite a pleasant stay despite these unpleasant details. Thank you.

MMisti WallerWe get there at 10:00am - We knew we couldnt check in but asked anyway. Lady on Thurs 9/28 told me we couldnt yet and gave us bag tags to hold our bags for us. Very nice and pleasant. We then return to the hotel at 9pm to finally check in. We had a great day seeing the city. We are then told that the room I booked was over sold and they can not provide me with a King that I purchased but a double. This was the manager - She discounted the bill and $54 and told me they would make sure we were accommodated tomorrow. The room we were put it was the size of a walk in closet with a bed with a window unit that water dropped on all night making a loud noise with every drop. It also had a broken shelf above the sink so you literally had no where to put anything. It was horrible and honestly a $54 discount was not nearly enough. Friday at 9am we come down turn in the room keys and explain to yet a third person....she understands and says I see notes here and we have a king room for you. I asked if we could go ahead and get the room number but she said no not yet we have to wait for the people to check out. We check our bags with tags and leave them at the desk again. We then spend another wonderful day exploring the city. We return around 9pm again and another person is working and has absolutely no idea of anything that was supposed to be done for us. I asked for any other room then the one we were in first and they had a queen room available. I took it after being so tired. The lady gave me the managers email and said he would speak to her for us. I will be reaching out but now that we checked out sat morning I dont believe we will be compensated for this terrible lack of communication. We never even got to unpack our bags.

Central Park

喜悦旅途The Central Park of New York in late autumn is really too beautiful. The first time I met Central Park, it was so beautiful. I never expected that it was late autumn. Under the blue sky, everything was so perfect. Although it was too late to look at it carefully, there was a feeling of love at first sight. Thank God, It was such a beautiful day that I could keep this beautiful scenery in my heart.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

泰迪小熊It came on September 19, 2017. The Metropolitan Museum is one of the most important museums in the world. With the influence of American imperialism, through the clever capture, the collection of cultural relics and artworks from all civilizations around the world is mostly representative cultural relics of various civilizations. I believe every visitor will feel mixed here. The entire museum is classified according to different civilizations on all continents, because the history of the collection is known to everyone, so the exhibition is very simple and rude, that is, put a civilized thing in a place, there is no good narrative, it is completely a "trophy" display. There are a lot of collections here, if you want to look good, it takes a day or two. The museum is right next to Central Park, and two places can also be arranged to visit in a day, half a day in the park, half a day in the museum.

Empire State Building

雨芯YuxinThe best seat, at least you can shoot the video beautifully! In addition to the bad iron fence, it is worth punching in. After all, the Empire State Building with the old coordinates! It is worth a visit, no need to compare with other, go right!

New York University

云石雨New York University is located next to Washington Square Park, which is the main landmark of Greenwich Village in Manhattan. Most of the buildings around the park belong to New York University, so it is often jokingly called the back garden of New York University.

Wall Street

Ppalettes_nyI feel that the skyline and various skyscrapers on Wall Street are really YYDS. I walked from the subway station to the bottom of Man Island. If there is enough time, I will arrange a cruise to go out to sea. The super comfortable New York play route punched in. New York's lower city, especially on the river bank, has a variety of classic niche museums, tired to go to the museum to sit around, feel that time unconsciously slow down. While the main street where the Wall Street bulls are located is crowded with tourists, the streets next to it are not too busy and crowded

5th Avenue

喜悦旅途This year, the exterior light show of Saks on Fifth Avenue in New York was cancelled, so the most popular store is the new flagship store of Louis Vuitton. Even if you don't buy anything, it's worth visiting the store. Louis Vuitton 57th Street NYC 6 East 57th Street, Fourth Floor New York, NY 10022 1Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm, Sunday 11am-9pm

United Nations Headquarters

GGrace_cytIf you only visit the first floor and the periphery, you don't need to buy a ticket. You need to go across the street to apply for a free visit with your passport. If you want to go upstairs to visit a specific meeting room, you need to buy a ticket and the guide will lead you on the tour. If you have already booked a tour group online, remember to arrive in advance. If you have made an appointment for a visit, remember to be on time. The guide took us upstairs to visit a specific meeting room. There are 4 to 5 meeting rooms. If there is no meeting, it is open for visit. After the visit, go downstairs to buy postcards and stamps. If you send postcards from here, you can also get a special commemorative stamp from the United Nations. The whole tour took about two and a half hours.

Rockefeller Center

MMiloweiMust go spot while visiting New York City! It’s nestled on the fifth Avenue, walk along fifth avenue and Rockefeller Center is easily spotted! there’s a ice skating rink during our visit, very lively and buzzing energy! lovely place to explore and for sight seeing! definitely a must go in NYC

The Museum of Modern Art

MMiloweiVisited this museum in New York City for a glance of the famous and original Starry Night painting by Vincent Van Gogh! I’m glad that we did pay a visit as the museum visit was a great one! the museum is huge with 5 floors of art paintings and sculptures displays! We spent around 2 hours here, which wasn’t sufficient. wish we had more time to spend here! The layout was a little confusing for me, but overall, amazing and artsy museum to visit.
