So, the hubby & I took a short trip 2NY & stayed here for 2nights. Where 2begin? There's only about 10parking spots (1being 4handicap), but, to b honest, the free parking is what landed us there. 3of those spots were taken when we arrived. The floors weren't vacuumed properly. There was no microwave. There was a refrigerator, the freezer portion of which contained an empty ice tray which was the only thing that would fit as it severely needed defrosting. There was no closet but there were 3hangers hanging on the wall by a mirror. There was an iron & board. There was a coffee/tea maker. There was no Bible. There was A/C but, it was weird. When on, you're both cold & hot alternately. Never quite comfortable. After checking in, we went out 4a bit. When we returned, we saw a giant rat running from where I think they store the garbage. Ugh. Both nights, we stuffed the bottom of the door w/towels cuz I was able to slide my whole finger underneath the door. That's enuf room 4those rodents. Ugh. When the hubby called for more towels he was told he had 2w8 4some1 2call him back. Say wut now? He left the room & returned w/towels. I didn't ask any questions. So my side of the bed had a lumpy noisy spring of sorts. I wasn't getting stuck by anything but I felt the lump & when I moved it made sounds. Ugh. The 1st night we were woken up 'bout 5AM(!) by a door opening & closing, over & over & over. Ugh. We learned later there were several children in a room very near to us. Y do kids wake so early? Breakfast was different. It's a Grab & Go Bag Breakfast which contained a croissant, an orange, a granola bar and a bottle of juice (I think 1 was orange & 1 was apple). Not 2bad, I guess considering Covid is still a thing. So, although parking was free, there were a few things we had 2deal with. I'm glad it was only a 2day stay.

I stayed here on the last night of trip because of the proximity to LGA airport for an early morning flight. Arrived around 7pm to an extremely full parking lot. Was able to squeeze into a non-designated spot. There were 4-5 guys just hanging out in the parking lot listening to music, as is they were in their own backyard. Odd, but, ok. Coming into the front lobby, it’s all dark except for the registration desk. Yet, there were a few people hanging out in the dark, where breakfast would normally be served. Get to my room, and immediately go use the toilet after a long day, which decides to keep running continuously, so I finally have to pop open the lid and wiggle the bobber around to make it stop. In the main bedroom, I discover there is no lamp fixture by the beds, only a gaping hole where one would normally be. The only light source in the entire room is a little desk lamp. Eventually settling into bed, there is all kinds of noises from the freeway, the tv next door, and people roaming the hallway. Earplugs are a necessity. This whole scenario feels like something out of a horror movie where you know something bad is going to happen. Wake up early & depart before 5 am out the rear entrance to the parking lot, where there are two shoeless guys again just hanging out on the steps. This hotel looks nice enough from the photos, but all the vagrants hanging out in and around the property do not make this a comfortable place to stay.

Minimalist breakfast. Because I had to leave for Chicago for two days in the middle of the road, I was able to leave my luggage here after I had a feeling of trying and talking with the front desk. I agreed very quickly. So I decided to live here after I returned to New York from Chicago.

Our overall one night stay was fine, but I rated this property ”average” due to: - At check in, Peggy did not acknowledge us as Hilton Honors Diamond Members. - Our room (1011) was in sad shape. The floor was sticky. The furniture had tears and was very worn down. The ceiling had large water stains and the walls had water damage in several areas. - The shower had no 'hot' water. When you turned it to the hot setting, cold water came out, you had to let it run for awhile (wasting a lot of water) to heat to lukewarm, at most. However, our overall stay was okay due to: - Glad to see recycling bins...which we used. - Grateful for the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. - Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast- plenty of choices. - We had a nice view of the city from our 10th floor room. This hotel is close to LaGuardia Airport. It was quiet, with exception of hallway noise. We did not have a car, so I cannot comment on the hotel parking. The front desk had plenty of menus offering Mexican, Chinese, and Italian food for delivery.

The hotel is very good, about 5-10 minutes walk from the subway station, near the NW line, a little farther away from the E, NQRW line. The overall style of the hotel was old and retro. At the beginning, I was afraid of noisy on the second floor (actually soundproofed). The hotel helped me to switch to a 12-room room with a balcony. Finally, when checking out, the average weekly service tax of about 20 knives is collected every day.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is THE WORST place to stay! There are no wash clothes, no soap, no shampoo, flat pillows, nasty towels, busted toilet, torn shade, metal bunk bed, and a box spring for a mattress. There’s a pipe at the ceiling that the tv antenna cord is wrapped around. Two hangers on the water pipe on the ceiling. Blood stains on the floor. Do NOT stay here! This should be shut down! Only saw the msn twice. He barely understands English. You can’t get extra towels, pillows, or blankets. You’re lucky to get the ones they give you.

The hotel is very new, the room is very clean, the breakfast is good, about 600 meters from the subway station, take the 7th line to the grand central or Times Square. High cost performance, recommended
