It's not mineral water, but the local drinking water. ☺️ The hotel is located in the small town of Newbury, surrounded by beautiful scenery and many English-style country cottages. 🏡 I was so moved. 💗 I just wanted to enjoy a different kind of rural scenery from the city. 😄"

"We frequently use Travelodge as we have a dog and it's just easy. We have recently stayed at Chievely Travelodge. We had a 3 night stay booked. The room was as expected but extremely hot. So hot it made it impossible for our dog to settle and she was quite poorly. We spent one uncomfortable night in our room and asked to be moved. Sanjay was excellent! He understood that we were struggling with our dog and sorted a different room on the cooler side of the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. They cleaned the room very quickly as it was occupied the night before, and moved us over as swiftly as possible. Thank you Sanjay, our dog was very happy in her second room, nice and cool and we were all able to sleep."

"A large country golf course. The house is a bit old and the golf course is very original. It is a good choice for quiet people. Parking is convenient and it is also convenient to go to the supermarket to buy things."

The upholstery was pretty grim in both rooms, large cofee/wind stain on the curtains. The sofa looked like something from a student house and the desk chair pretty much the same - not reflective of room price"

"We stumbled across Ye Olde Red Lion, on our trip home and stopped in for lunch. It was a Monday and it was really busy, but the landlady found us a table. We had the pie of the day, beef and onion in red wine gravy. Absolutely delicious. The Landlord, landlady and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Even though they were really busy they still had time to greet and talk to each customer. Wonderful place, will definitely visit again. Tip- try the pork scratchings xx"

"Stayed in flat 3 for a couple of nights mainly to visit newbury racecourse. The booking process was relatively straightforward note that theres a £150 security deposit (which was refunded on the day we left) and its £8 a night to park. Apartment is modern and well equiped although we didnt do much cooking...the big bonus is a decent fridge and washing machine. Flat 3 is at the front of the block overlooking the street so does get some road noise. The apartments are centrally located so an easy walk to everything newbury has to offer."

"Was a lovely stay, room is an old converted cottage, big and comfortable beds and wonderfully clean bathroom. The staff were friendly, chatty and helpful in every way. 10/10 will recommend anyone to stay here and hopefully will beck again one day."
