"The bed. The mattress? The Savage Room ..........honestly I have never slept on a more comfortable mattress in my life . Some kind of magic ergonomic design . This is a beautiful B and B . Staff lovely. Beer garden amazing : designed like an Ibiza party spot but tooled up for the NI coastal weather. Savage room had sea view, hot radiators, beautiful toiletries supplied, classically designed room. Breakfast was tasty ."

"We stayed two nights at this one bedroom apartment. It was perfect for my husband and I. Decorated beautifully and spotless. Large living,dining and kitchen room with three windows for good light. Bedroom was fine and a large bathroom. Easy access in and out. The apartment is on the start of the high street and behind is the beach and promenade. Plenty of walks around the area. The lovely owner Dana made us very welcome and she also has the Shimna cafe downstairs in which you have your breakfast, good quality of food and coffee. The staff are also very friendly and you feel part of the community. Seating indoors and outside. I have no problem recommending this lovely place and I'm sure all the accommodations belonging to Blue Door as as lovely as ours . We will certainly return in the near future."
