Urban Hotel Nihonmatsu ★★
"I really enjoyed my stay at Urban Hotel Nihonmatsu. The location is very convenient near the station, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. It was a perfect place to stay for visiting Ebisu Circuit and exploring Fukushima, and I would happily stay here again."
Azumakan ★★★
"My wife and I stayed there a week ago. The hot springs were great. The food was good too. There were lots of books about mountains and travel in the lounge, so we weren't bored. The only downside was that our twin bedroom was on the 5th floor, and the view wasn't very good because there was another 4-story inn building right in front of us, so we kept the shoji screens on the windows closed all the time."
Hotel Route-Inn Nihonmatsu -Kokudo 4Gou- ★★★
"It was very clean. It was convenient that there was a supermarket and a convenience store nearby."
Mount Inn ★★
"The hot springs were great, and the room had a spectacular view. The hotel staff were also kind, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you very much."
Kounkaku ★★★★
"Since I stayed with my first year old, I was able to spend comfortably with everything such as a baby bath at the hot spring, a baby chair at the dining hall, and tableware!"
Kagamigaike Hekizantei ★★★
"We descended a narrow slope (Sakurazaka) from the hot spring town of Nihonmatsu. There was a foot bath on the right, but it was too cold to get out of the car. On the left was the still-closed Ichinohira Hotel (although its sign still remains on the road). While the hotel's official website lists 60 parking spaces and 47 rooms, for some reason, several late-arriving cars were parked on the side of the road. (However, since the road is a dead-end, only hotel guests can enter.) The hotel itself was very clean. Our room was a comfortable Japanese-style room. The window offered a good view of Kagami-ga-ike Pond. The baths are on the first floor, with only a large communal bath and an open-air bath; there is no sauna, and no separate baths for men and women. While listed as an "acid spring," the water had a strong sulfur smell and was very warming. The day we visited was "Milky Day" (a day for cleaning the bathtub gutters), so the hot spring water was milky white, but the next morning, it was clear. The food is a half-buffet, with sukiyaki and other basic dishes already prepared on the table, and some food and drinks served buffet-style. Most of the facilities are free, and this time we enjoyed playing table tennis. We also borrowed board games (there are several, but you can only borrow one at a time) and had a great time in our room that night. I think this is a recommended ryokan within the Ito En group."
