Hotels near ECCO, Ningbo

The hotel is trying, but missing the mark in a lot of ways…felt like a bit of a letdown for a 4 star hotel. The location kind of sucks. It’s right beside a metro though which is good. Breakfast is served in a room with about 10 tables…so you’ll be fighting for a seat. It’s a very limited breakfast as well. The rooms have no coffee or tea. No fridge in the rooms. The rooms have a nice sofa and table but no chairs (making it hard to work). Elevators feel more appropriate for a 2 star hotel. However, the staff were very attentive. There’s a nice coffee machine in the lobby.

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas. 1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes. 2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale 3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days . 4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced . 5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby. 6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use . 7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes . 8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees. 9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion! 10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking . For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those . The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

The magician like design was amazing and it is a magical place for selfie ! It is worth to come with friends and share a fantastic moment together.  It took me around 1 hour to explore different areas and took photos. The room was European style and spacious,  you can enjoy the beautiful scene nearby.   The design of your room door is a book shelf that you need to find which book you tab the key card to open the door. No worries the beautiful staff will teach you.  Compliments to the nice female staff who help me to store the suitcases after check out.

Best hotel ever so far! Good services, very helpful staffs, doing beyond asked. Especially for the receptionist with short hair. Helped me to carry the luggage even though I didn’t asked, wait outside in the very hot weather with me.

I took my kids to play nearby on weekends. My kids like to stay in hotels, so I selected many parent-child hotels on Ctrip for comparison. Finally, I chose the theme of Octonauts (children also want to chase stars, haha). The room is very large and the decoration is very thoughtful. The kids shouted that it was great and loved it as soon as they entered the door. It is very close to IKEA and Hankyu Department Store, which is quite convenient. The front desk service and room service are very friendly. I have a small suggestion. There are a few charging parking spaces. Can you increase it?

A+++! It was a wonderful stay at this hotel we were only in Ningbo for two nights but its location made it easier for us to get around quickly without wasting too much time. What really stood out with the service. The staff was always very helpful to answer question and assist us when we needed. We had issues understanding our taxi driver and they immediately stepped in to talk with the taxi driver on our behalf. Will surely stay here again.

Room is small, location is excellent. 100 inch projection is amazing. It is like sleeping in a movie theater, we watched 3 movies for 6 hours. Definitely would stay here again.

Service: To be honest, the five points were for the service on the day I left, but I was really dissatisfied when I checked in. It was a bit of a scam because I booked a double bed room. When I checked in, my mother asked if I could change it to a double room. The front desk told me that there was a price difference, so we said there was no need to change it. Then the front desk said that if you become a member, you can upgrade to a twin room for free. Because I had just registered on my mobile phone, the front desk asked my mother, a new user, to apply for a membership. My mother did it. At that time, I was packing my luggage and didn’t watch the operation. After my mother finished it, I realized that she had paid a membership fee of 49. May I ask? ? ? I said the free upgrade would cost 49 yuan, so why don’t I just add 49 yuan to get a double bed? The difference in price between a double bed and a twin bed is just 49, and the room I booked can be refunded, and I can still get Ctrip points. It is a very unreasonable inducement to spend. If I am not too lazy to make a fuss when I am away from home, I would like to complain about fraud. It is clearly stated that there will be a free upgrade. Such a large circle requires us to pay. If we have a choice, we will not stay at Orange Crystal again. Your words are very problematic. It should be Huazhuhui. I did it in Beijing because he told me that I have to pay. It was possible to upgrade, so I did it. I was told in advance that I thought it was okay, but saying it was free and charging money at the same time was really a bit embarrassing. It felt like I wanted it at the same time. After taking our money, I still want to thank you for upgrading us🫠 This time I chose Crystal Orange because the breakfast was good. This restaurant is also newly opened and the facilities are relatively new. It is indeed good to experience it, but this insincere operation is really disgusting👋

The room is clean; The view outside the window is good; The bed is comfortable; The breakfast dishes are rich. There is a coffee machine and tea in the lobby, which can be self-serviced. There are also many books for everyone to read, and the atmosphere is good.

This was, without a shadow of the doubt, one of the best experiences and certainly the best one in China. The hotel is brand new and has been built with highest quality materials. Both the design and scale of the project, conference centre next door is being finished, are impressive to say the least. Service was fantastic with extremely helpful and polite staff. Food... amazing variety and high quality! We took our bikes to cycle around the lake, so the location for us could not be better. Close to the lake but in a nice and quiet spot, in contrary to many other hotels on the other side of the lake. Pretty cool swimming pool with smallish fitness area attached. The on-site café with outside area was very cozy but we only tried cakes and tea, not sure about the quality of their coffee. Overall, highly recommended! As we live locally, we will definitely consider coming back.
