My recent stay at the Sheraton Ninghai exceeded all my expectations! Daisy handled my check-in with exceptional professionalism and warmth, making the process incredibly smooth and quick. She also thoughtfully provided all the necessary details about my stay. Yumiko was incredibly friendly and polite, always ready to help with any questions or issues I had during my visit. Jiah was meticulously attentive and thorough, providing such thoughtful service that made me feel truly cared for. Brisa made the check-out process simple and efficient; there was no waiting in line, and she was very patient and gentle. The entire hotel staff provided excellent service. The hotel itself was clean and quiet, and the overall service was impeccable. The breakfast was fantastic too! My lake-view room directly overlooked Tianming Lake, and the hotel has direct access to Tianming Lake Park from both sides, making it a perfect spot for walks or jogs to soak in the natural beauty. Overall, my experience was superb. I've already saved this hotel and will definitely choose it again for my next visit!

The hotel service was excellent. Check-in was fast, and the room was spotlessly clean with no strange smells. All the facilities were complete and in good working order. The environment was quiet, so I wasn't disturbed by any noise. The staff were gentle and polite, and they resolved any issues promptly. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. My stay exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!

This time, I brought my pregnant wife for a two-night stay at the Cordis Hotel Ningbo Dongqian Lake, and overall, it exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Annie.
Location and Environment:
The hotel is right by Dongqian Lake, and the gardens have a charming Jiangnan aesthetic. An evening stroll by the lake was incredibly therapeutic.
Room and Facilities:
We had originally booked a different room type, but after Annie learned my wife was pregnant before our check-in, she proactively upgraded us to a room in the Baby Bella building. The room was very quiet, had excellent natural light, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing my pregnant wife to rest very well. The entire building offered high privacy and easy access, which is very friendly for travel during pregnancy.
Dining and Service:
Breakfast was abundant, with both local specialties and Western options. The service was consistently excellent, especially Annie, who meticulously coordinated our needs before check-in. During our stay, she helped us with the room upgrade and arranged for a quiet area. Her thoughtful and attentive service throughout made us feel very at ease.
Recommended for:
It's suitable for families with children, couples, and those traveling with seniors or pregnant women looking to relax. Nearby attractions like Xiaoputuo and Hanling Old Street are just a short drive away.
Special thanks to Annie for all her attentive service before, during, and after our stay, which made this short trip during pregnancy exceptionally warm.

1. The main advantage of the hillside rooms is the private hot spring. Other facilities, however, are quite a step down from the main Junlan building. The amenities are pretty old, and the bathroom design is poorly thought out—no mirror above the sink and no hooks or racks for towels. It fell short of my expectations.
2. The hotel lacks a kids' club, and the outdoor facilities aren't designed with families in mind, making it unsuitable for guests with children. Plus, the outdoor farm and other areas are really old, run-down, and poorly maintained.
3. Breakfast was just average, nothing special.
4. There was no butler service, and everything was just standard. They even asked for a good review, but honestly, I didn't experience any exceptional service.
5. Overall, the experience was quite mediocre. Especially the first few hillside rooms, which lack a balcony and a sofa, are very small and offer poor value for money.

LookoutAmazing location for visiting Ningbo - central to many restaurants and was convenient for our plans. Room was large and we had a very comfortable stay with a good breakfast. Staff at the front desk could not have been more helpful- we really appreciated them. My only recommendation would be for a little more training for housekeeping staff- they knocked on our door when ‘DND’ was clearly on. When cleaning they did not make up the bed properly, left one of their hair pins on the floor and also forgot a dirty towel in the corridor of our floor. It was otherwise a very enjoyable stay and we would happily book this hotel again for our next visit.

The hotel is not far from Hanling Old Street, and it's a pleasant stroll there. I arrived around 12:00, but the room wasn't ready yet, so I left my luggage and went out for a bite to eat. At 14:00, they called to say the room still wasn't ready, so they kindly upgraded us to a family suite, which was a nice surprise! 😊 The hot springs were incredibly clean, and there were many pools, which I really liked. In the evening, they offered complimentary 'goodnight milk,' and there were welcome fruits in the room upon arrival. While the hotel facilities are indeed a bit dated, the service is excellent. I raised a minor issue, and before checking out, the front office manager proactively called me and even gave us a souvenir. The exceptional service definitely made up for the older facilities. I would choose to stay here again next time I visit Ningbo.

Madridista-Ningbo Park Hyatt was built for the future.
And now, the present, is the future of the past.
This Park Hyatt, nestled by the mountains and lake,
After years of Jiangnan's rain and wind,
Still remains a worthwhile retreat to visit.
Scent is a self-reinforcing memory.
The distinctive musk and cedar notes of 'Another13' pervade from the expansive lobby and public areas right into the guest rooms. Thanks to Ms. Alora for guiding me through the public spaces, where light and shadow constantly shift, expertly designed to be both open and intimate.
The nearly ten-meter-high atrium features dark oak grilles as its texture, with natural light pouring down from skylights on both sides, connecting to the ground. To the right, the shimmering lake view is unobstructed.
Ningbo Park Hyatt excels at and enjoys using negative space.
The overall flow features minimal paintings or decorations, with wooden materials creating a natural sense of luxury through their play with light. A single spotlight on a piece of art at the end of a pathway is enough to become the entire visual focal point.
The best view is reserved for the bathroom. While the full set of Le Labo toiletries has become standard, they don't exist as isolated, jarring elements, but are seamlessly integrated into the room's space, which is dominated by wood and linen.
Breakfast is definitely a hotel's touchstone.
With early summer having passed but 'Xiaoman' (Lesser Fullness of Grain) not yet arrived, the refreshing lake breeze outside Yue Xuan dispels the early heat. Starting with Western vegetarian options, followed by freshly baked 'shaobing' (sesame flatbread) to fill up, and ending with osmanthus tangyuan (glutinous rice balls).
Jiangnan doesn't speak of wabi-sabi.
”Fine rain wets clothes, yet unseen; idle flowers fall, yet unheard.”
Thanks to Ms. Alora for being responsive and highly efficient in every matter.

Guest UserThe facilities and amenities were all fine, but many aspects of the service were just speechless. For example, I booked two executive king rooms with balconies for three adults and two children. For two whole days, from the front desk to the restaurant, they kept asking me to pay for an additional half-price child's breakfast. So, could one of my original four adult breakfasts be converted to half-price for a child then? Secondly, I found out that guests on the executive floor could enjoy drinks at the executive lounge, but no staff member informed me of this from check-in. I even傻傻地 asked why there were no drinks in the mini-bar. For a room rate of four to five thousand, not even a simple reminder about a complimentary drink or a proper discussion about a half-price children's meal is just baffling. Other services, however, were excellent, from the room's cleanliness, the view, the restaurant's food, to the service at the recreational facilities – all were very good.

The Portman is my favourite hotel in Ningbo. It’s very conveniently located, close to the city centre, subway station, shops, and restaurants. It’s always quiet inside the hotel, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had an iron, a washing machine, and a bath, and the bed was comfortable. I look forward to staying at the Portman again.
